June 17, 2020 HON Recalls Office Chairs Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves HON's Gateway office chairs with model numbers HGTMM and HGV1MM and manufactured from February 2019 through February 2020. It also involves the Maxon MXMO series chairs, model numbers M-SEMO201 and M-SEMX101. The manufacturer's name, model number and manufacture date are printed on a label located on the underside of the seats. The office chairs have a black mesh see-through back and a five-star base with wheels. HON or Maxon is printed on a label underneath the seat. Read more.

July 10, 2019 Office Depot Recalls Desks Due To Shock Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Realspace Magellan Performance-Electric Height-Adjustable Desks. They were sold in espresso or cherry colors. The desks have the Office Depot SKU number 358370 (espresso) or 216230 (cherry) printed on a label located underneath the desk top. The desk's control box is located under the desk on the right side and controls the desk's upward and downward movements. Read more.

May 14, 2019 Knape & Vogt Recalls Office Workstations Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves desktop sit-stand office workstations, sold under the brand names: Adas Elevo Sit-to-Stand Desktop, K&A Manufacturing Helium Surface, 3M Precision Standing Desk, Inscape Rockit, Neutral Posture Ergonomics StandUp X1, Workrite Ergonomics Solace Desktop, Volante and IMOVR Ziplift. The black or white workstations can be used in a sitting or standing position. The workstations measure about 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep. They have two handles and two hydraulic gas pressure cylinders which enable the workstation to be raised or lowered. Affected workstations can be identified by the Lot Number label located on the inside of the right hand top surface bracket of each unit. Affected lot numbers contain the last three letters "VOL". June 2, 2016 Square Grove Recalls Sit-Stand Desk Converters Due to Serious Injury Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Square Grove's Sit-Stand Converters. The model included in the recall is UPL147 and includes the freestand and clamp versions. The freestand version sits on a desk that raises and lowers a computer monitor and keyboard by 17 inches. The clamp version functions the same, but clamps to the back of the desk. The color of both versions is black. The dimensions for the top platform are about 24 inches in width and 16 inches in diameter. The keyboard platform dimensions are about 24 inches in width and 9 inches in diameter. The freestanding base platform version dimensions are about 20 inches in width and 20 inches in diameter. February 9, 2016 IKEA Recalls Ceiling Lamps Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves Ikea HYBY and LOCK ceiling lamps. The lamps have domed white frosted glass shades and three plastic clips that attach the shade to steel electrical lamp housings. The HYBY has a shade that is 15 inches in diameter and decorated with four opaque concentric lines. The lamp housing holds two light bulbs. The LOCK has a shade that is 10 inches in diameter. The lamp housing holds one light bulb. Type number and the model name of the lamps are on a label attached to the electrical lamp housing.
