February 16, 2023 Recalls Wicked Lights Night Hunting Headlamps Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves's Wicked Lights-branded night hunting headlamps, models ScanPro iC Gen 1, Gen 1.5 and Gen 2. The black headlamps have an adjustable elastic cloth headband, an elevation adjustment lock knob and an intensity control knob, a zoom focus bezel, a rubberized halo shield and built-in green, red and white LED's or single-color LED. They were sold with lithium ion rechargeable batteries and a storage carrying case. ScanPro appears on the elastic headband and Wicked Lights on the body of the light. Only headlights without an "F" suffix in the style code printed on the battery compartment are included on this recall. The style code can be found inside the battery compartment. Read more.

May 14, 2020 Sterno Home Recalls Path Light Kits With LED Power Supplies Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves Hampton Bay, Patriot Lighting and Paradise light kits sold with Sterno Home LED power supplies. The power supplies alter the voltage going through the light circuit. "Hampton Bay," "Patriot Lighting," and "Paradise" are printed on the rating label of the lights. Read more.

September 20, 2018 Kaz Recalls Stinger Insect Zappers Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves Stinger BK series Insect Zapper electric insect/mosquito zapper including the Stinger Insect Zapper (Model BK 110v3), the Stinger 3-in-1 Insect Zapper (Model BK310v3) and the Stinger 5-in-1 Insect & Mosquito Zapper (Model BK510v3). They are black or gray plastic and stand or hang vertically. The units are about 19 inches high and 6 inches wide and require an extension cord to operate outside. The recalled models have codes ending in YTG and Made in China printed on the silver label on the bottom of the product. July 15, 2014 Halco Recalls LED Bulbs Due to Risk of Injury and Burn Hazards

This recall involves 14 Halco LED bulb models used in recessed lights, as outdoor security lighting and in retail displays. The bulbs have a metal cone-shaped housing, are silver in color, either 14 or 18 watts, and have clusters of 6 to 16 LEDs. "ProLED" is printed on a label on the plastic housing of the bulb along with model numbers, product names, and date codes. The PAR30 bulbs measure about 4.75 inches long and 3.75 inches wide. The PAR38 bulbs measure about 4.75 inches long and 4.75 inches wide. July 26, 2012 Motion Sensing Security Lights Recalled by HeathCo due to Electrical Shock Hazard

This recall involves Heath®/Zenith 270° Motion Security Lights with model number SL-5414-WH. It replaces a standard outdoor wall mounted light fixture and is designed to turn on when motion is detected at night. The product has two cone-shaped lightbulb receptacles attached to a round mounting plate. A small, rectangular motion sensor is attached to the mounting plate between the lightbulb receptacles. The unit is made of aluminum and plastic. It comes in white only. The brand name and model number are on a label located on the back of the motion sensor. Read more.

June 19, 2012 Bel Air Lighting Recalls Outdoor Wall Mount Lanterns Due to Fire, Burn and Shock Hazards

This recall involves outdoor wall-mount lanterns made of cast aluminum in a rust color with beveled glass. A question mark shaped piece of metal connects the lantern body to the wall-mount plate. The lanterns were sold at Lowe's stores under the Portfolio brand name with item number 253366 and at lighting showrooms with item number 44181. The brand name and item number are printed on the product's packaging. Lanterns included in the recall are 19.25-inches tall by 9.75-inches wide by 9.25-inches deep and have a three-light candelabra base cluster inside. Part number "E194303" is printed on the base plate and on a label affixed to one of the light sockets. Read more.

September 8, 2010 Rechargeable Spotlights Recalled by Innovage Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves the One Million Candlepower Spotlight, a rechargeable halogen light. The handheld spotlight is made of yellow plastic and has a black label that reads, “FIXIT Tools UP TO 1,000,000 CANDLE POWER” or “FIXIT Rechargeable Spotlight.” The spotlight is sold with an AC power charger and a 12 volt car utility adapter.
