July 17, 2014 Popkiller Recalls USB Chargers, Adapters and Cables Due to Fire and Electric Shock Hazards

This recall involves Popkiller mini USB car charger power adapters, universal USB power adapters and 8-pin USB data sync charging cables. The car charger has model number HHT-001 located on the flat side of the charger below the USB port. The charger measures 2 inches tall and 1 inch in diameter at its widest point. The Universal USB Power adapter has model number A1265 printed directly above the plug blades on the grey surface. The adapter measures 1.5 inches at its longest point and 1 inch wide. There is no model number printed on the 8-pin USB charging cables. All of the recalled products are sold separately and come in the colors red, orange, green, blue, purple and pink. Read more.


July 10, 2014 Lifeguard Press Recalls Charging Kits Due to Fire, Shock Hazards

This recall involves seven models of charging kits with universal serial bus (USB) connectors that are used to recharge Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod devices. The recalled kits were sold under the Ban.do, Jonathan Adler and Lilly Pulitzer brand names and contained a wall charger, a 12 to 24-volt car charger, a 30-pin USB cord and a Lightning port adapter. The wall chargers are plastic cubes about 1 ¼ inches long, 1 inch wide and ½ inch tall with two metal prongs for plugging into an electrical outlet on one end and a USB port on the opposite end. Ban.do wall chargers came in the colors yellow and black and white stripe. Jonathan Adler wall chargers came in multicolor and blue and white patterns. Lilly Pulitzer wall chargers came in multicolor floral patterns. February 27, 2009 Certain LG 830 "Spyder" Cell Phones Recalled For Upgrade Due to Dropped Connection or Poor Connection on Emergency 911 Calls

June 5, 2008 Polycom, Inc. Recalls Wireless Conference Phone Batteries Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled battery packs were supplied by Gold Peak Industries Ltd. and sold with Polycom’s SoundStation2W wireless conference phones from December 1, 2007 until May 2, 2008, and separately as replacement battery packs during the same time period. May 20, 2008 "Cricket EZ" Cell Phones Recalled; Audio Problem Interferes with Emergency 911 Calls

This recall involves the “Cricket EZ” cellular phone. The cell phones are small, black and silver bar-style. “Cricket” is printed on top of the phone above the display panel. Model number “CRKJ88BKIT” is located on a label inside the battery compartment behind the battery. Units that have a model number that ends with a “B” (“CRKJ88BKITB”), units that have a green dot on the inside label, and units that were sold after March 2008 are not included in this recall. June 21, 2005 Belkin Recall of Batteries Sold with Bluetooth GPS Navigation System

The recall involves Li-Polymer battery packs sold with Belkin Bluetooth™ GPS Navigation System models F8T051 and F8T051-DL. The GPS model number can be found on a label on the bottom of the unit. "Part No.: 300-203712001" and Model No.: AE-8210" are written on the side of the battery. Read more.
