November 15, 2016 Projection Night Lights Recalled by LTD Commodities and The Lakeside Collection Due to Shock and Fire Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves color changing projection night lights with a rotating plug and dome top with LED lights that change colors from red, blue and green. "Made in China" and "0.6W 60Hz 120VAC" are etched in the plastic base of the night lights near the plug component. Read more.


October 13, 2016 Chimparoo Baby Carriers by L'echarpe Porte-bonheur Recalled Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Chimparoo brand Trek baby carriers that allow the user to carry a baby tummy to tummy, on the hip or on the back. The 100% twill fabric carriers were sold in 18 solid, striped and pattern color combinations. The carriers attach to the wearer's body with adjustable straps made of polypropylene webbing and plastic buckles. "Chimparoo" is printed on the upper right hand corner of the carrier. October 6, 2016 Summer Infant Recalls Infant Bath Tubs Due to Risk of Impact Injury and Drowning

This recall involves Lil' Luxuries Whirlpool, Bubbling Spa & Shower with fabric slings. The infant bath tub is a battery-operated whirlpool bath with motorized jets intended for use with children from birth to 2 years. The product contains a fabric sling on a plastic frame onto which the infant is placed for bathing. The fabric sling on the recalled bath tubs does not have a white plastic attachment clip to hold the headrest area of the fabric sling to the plastic frame. Recalled bath tubs have item numbers 18840, 18850, 18863, and 18873 and were sold between October 2012 and October 2013 with date codes starting with 1210, 1211, 1212, 1301, 1302, 1303, 1304, 1305, 1306, 1307, and 1308, which stand for the two-digit year followed by the two-digit month, on the fabric sling. September 21, 2016 Infant Carriers Recalled Due to Fall Hazard; Manufactured By Lenny Lamb

The Lenny Lamb Buckle Onbu is an infant carrier designed to strap the baby against the caregiver's body at the hip. It is intended for children who can already sit unassisted. It is most commonly used for back carry. The woven 100% cotton carrier was sold in 83 different styles and in one standard size. It has an interior panel to adjust the width, padded shoulder straps and an adjustable hood. A label with the manufacture date between 05.2016 and 06.2016 is located on the back side of the shoulder area of the carrier. Read more.


September 8, 2016 Toys 'R' Us Recalls Pacifier Clips Due to Choking Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Babies 'R' Us and Toys 'R' Us

This recall involves Babies 'R' Us pacifier clips sold in an assortment of six colors and character designs, including a red monster, blue monster, monkey, giraffe, owl with one eye closed, and an owl with both eyes open. The pacifier clips have a circular plastic cover affixed to a metal spring clip and a fabric strip with snaps at the other end. The recalled pacifier clip assortment has model number 5F6237F and "®2014 Geoffrey, LLC" engraved on the back to the plastic cover. Read more.


August 24, 2016 Dorel Juvenile Recalls Safety 1st Strollers Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Step and Go Travel Systems sold under the Safety 1st brand and manufactured by Dorel Juvenile. The stroller has a step-to-open design that opens by stepping on the pedal. It was sold in a variety of colors along with the OnBoard 35 infant car seat. Safety 1st is imprinted on the front of the stroller tray. Model number TR314 is printed on a white label on the back of the stroller seat. Read more.


August 23, 2016 Alex Toys Recalls Infant Building Play Sets Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves three ALEX Jr. branded sets of infant building toys, the Baby Builder, model 1982, First Pops, model 1981P, and the First Snaps, model 1981S produced prior to November 2010. The sets include an assortment of plastic shapes in bright colors. The pieces are designed to be pulled, pushed, snapped and twisted and come in stackable plastic jars. They were sold in sets of 14 and 26 pieces. The recalled First Snaps sets' containers have the following batch codes, on a sticker above the UPC code on the container. August 23, 2016 McDonald’s Recalls “Step-iT” Activity Wristbands Due to Risk of Skin Irritation or Burns

This recall involves "Step-iT" activity wristbands, which come in two styles-"Activity Counter" and a motion-activated "Light-up Band." The Activity Counter comes in translucent plastic orange, blue or green and features a digital screen that tracks a child's steps or other movement. The Light-up Band comes in translucent plastic red, purple, or orange and blinks light with the child's movement. Both styles of activity wristbands have a square face with the words "STEP-iT" printed on them and a button to depress and activate the wristband. The back of the square face contains the etched words "Made for McDonald's." Read more.


July 21, 2016 Lorex Recalls Video Baby Monitors Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves Lorex Care 'N' Share video baby monitors. The model numbers included in this recall are WL3520, WL4320 and WL3401. The model numbers are printed on the back panel of the monitor. The monitors were sold in bundles with cameras. The monitors contain a blue lithium polymer battery and measure about 4 inches tall by 5 inches wide. The monitors have a white plastic back and either a white or black border. "LOREX" or "The Lorex Baby" is printed below the monitor screen. Read more.


July 19, 2016 GSI Outdoors Recalls Children’s Water Bottles Due to Violation of Lead Standard; Sold Exclusively at L.L.Bean

This recall involves five styles of kids' insulated water bottles with printed graphics. The bottles are 13.5 ounces capacity with the following color prints: Dino Bones, Flower Power, Orange Grid camo, Purple Tie Dye Butterfly and Robo Shark. The item identification number 297684 is printed on a sticker on the bottom of the bottle. Also printed on the sticker are "PO#844" and "BB2D2-LLB-R45-0413." Read more.
