Recalls: Babies and Kids
This recall involves The First Years American Red Cross cabinet swing locks with item number Y7181. The latches are mounted on cabinets or drawers to help prevent young children from gaining access and were sold two per blister card. An America Red Cross logo and "cabinet swing lock" is printed on the package. "American Red Cross" is molded onto the front of the lock. A date code is printed on the bottom of the back of the package and on the back side of each latch just above the connection point. Read more.
This recall involves all styles and sizes of Roman shades and roll-up blinds sold by Lowe's. Roman shades with repair kits and roll-up blinds with release clips right below the head rail on the backside of the blind are not included in this recall (see pictures below). Read more.
The recalled cribs are wood with a metal mattress support and have a drop side with external plastic hardware. The cribs were sold in a variety of finishes. A label is attached to the footboard or headboard with the names "Bassettbaby" or "Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc." as well as the model number, production date and other information. This recall involves all children’s hooded sweatshirts and nylon hooded jackets with drawstring sold under the brand name “VOS Sports.” The sweatshirt and jackets were sold in assorted sizes including S-M or L and in up to 14 colors. “VOS Sports” and “RN#94353” are printed on the sewn-in label. The recall includes Chaperone infant car seats with model numbers E9L69N9 (Moonstone), E9L69P2 (Red Mill), E9L69P3 (Savannah) and E9L69P5 (Cowmooflage) sold in the U.S. All recalled models were manufactured between April 2009 and May 2010. The white serial label with the seat’s serial number, model number, and manufacture date can be found on the underside of the car seat. Read more.
The recalled Forever-Glo® Cylinder Nite Lite is a cylinder shaped night light with a white base and clear top that plugs into the wall. Only Model Number 71107 with a manufacturer code of SY is included in this recall. The model number and manufacturer code are printed on the back of the night light. The light measures about 4 inches in height by 1- 1/2 inches wide and is about 1 inch deep. Read more.
The girls’ ruffle vests are quilted and “chalk” colored with a hood trimmed in fake fur. The vests have a label sewn to the inside side seam of the lining with number #587754 printed on it. Read more.
This recall involves plastic Halloween-themed lanterns designed to resemble a pumpkin, ghost and skull. The lanterns are about 6 1/2 inches tall and were sold in orange, white and black. Model number 954437-13096-003-1005 is printed on the bottom of the lanterns. Read more.
This recall involves Ethan Allen brand cribs with item numbers 14-5650, 15-5650, 16-5650, 26-5650, 35-5622, 36-5620, 36-5622 and 38-5622. “Ethan Allen” and the item number are printed on a label on the crib’s headboard or footboard. The cribs were sold in a variety of colors. Read more.
This recall involves the following models of Longwood Forest drop-side cribs with plastic drop-side hardware: 6103S, 6105S, 6106S, 6108S, 6109S, 8025P, and 8029P. They were sold in white, brown, natural and oak colors. “Longwood Forest” or “Angel Line” and the model number are printed on a label on the crib’s headboard. The firm’s fixed-side cribs and drop-side cribs with metal rod-type hardware are not included in this recall. Read more.
