July 20, 2010 Pacifiers Recalled by Antonio Flores Due to Choking Hazard

The pacifier has a ring-shaped handle and a round-shaped mouth guard. "Kariño" is printed on the handle side of the mouth guard, and "Mygra" is printed on one side of the handle. The nipple is filled with corn syrup. Read more.

July 13, 2010 Tween Brands Recalls Children's Metal Jewelry Due to High Levels of Cadmium

This recall involves 19 different styles of children's metal necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Styles and shapes of the jewelry include hearts, heart locks, butterflies, cupcakes, peace signs and crowns. Some jewelry contains the words "Best," "Friends" or "Forever" and/or "BFF." July 1, 2010 Daiso Recalls Children's Coin Purses and Jewelry Due to Risk of Lead Exposure

This recall involves children’s coin purses with rainbow stripes and children’s earrings and necklaces that have blue, pink, red, white and yellow colored droplets. “The Coin Purse” and “Mobile Case Coin Puase” are printed on the tag attached to the purse. “Colorful Drop Accessory Bracelet” is printed on the front of the necklace packages and “Colorful Drop Accessory Pierce” is printed on the front of the earring packages. This recall involves “Happy” charm bracelets and football rings. The “Happy” charm bracelet is comprised of colorful beads on a small elastic band to which a metal charm in the shape of a butterfly, moon or sun is attached. June 25, 2010 Scope® Original Mint Mouthwash Recalled by Procter & Gamble Due to Failure to Meet Child-Resistant Closure Requirement

This recall involves some bottles of Scope® Original Mint Mouthwash in 1 liter sizes. The recalled bottles have the number 4 on the bottom of the bottle. The bottles with the 4 on the bottom may not be child-resistant. Consumers can also attempt to twist the cap open. If the cap can be twisted off without squeezing the tabs on the cap, the package is not child-resistant. Read more.


June 24, 2010 LaJobi Recalls to Repair Bonavita, Babi Italia and ISSI Drop-Side Cribs Due to Entrapment, Suffocation and Fall Hazards

This recall involves all models of Bonavita, Babi Italia and ISSI drop-side cribs manufactured by LaJobi. The cribs have drop-side hardware that contains metal or plastic pegs that are recessed into either the drop side or the headboard and footboard of the crib. A label on the headboard of the crib identifies the manufacturer as LaJobi. Read more.
