February 20, 2018 NEMO Equipment Recalls Stargaze Recliner Chairs Due to Fall Hazard; Sold Exclusively at REI

This recall involves the Stargaze Recliner, Stargaze Recliner Low, and Stargaze Recliner Luxury lifestyle camping chairs. These portable swinging and reclining outdoor chairs have an aluminum frame and black and gray monofilament mesh seat, and weigh between five and seven pounds. They were sold in four colors: birch leaf green, graphite, verdigris (teal) and Sedona (red). They come in a black, padded carrying case, and are used as a portable seat for camping and outdoor activities. The model name is printed on the pocket on the inside right side of the seat. The NEMO name and logo is attached to the back of the seat as a stitched logo. Read more.

February 8, 2018 Poppin Recalls Pitch Rolling Chairs Due to Fall Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Popping Pitch model rolling chairs. The chair is upholstered in fabric and was sold in five colors: Red (model #: 103772), Blue (model #: 103767), Dark Gray (model #: 103769), Khaki (model #: 103771), and Dark Blue (model #: 103768). The chair has a chrome-plated base, five roller wheels and measures about 33 inches tall and 25.5 inches wide. The Poppin logo and model number are printed on the chair's seat plate underneath the chair. Read more.

January 2, 2018 Comfort Research Recalls Bean Bag Chair Covers Due to Risks of Entrapment, Suffocation to Children

This recall involves Comfort Research's Ultra Lounge bean bag chair covers. The natural polyester Sherpa, teardrop-shape bean bag chair cover measures 28 inches by 28 inches by 36 inches and has two zippers on the exterior. The covers were sold without foam bead filling in a DIY package. The covers have three sewn-in tags. One tag reads "id COLORS" on the front and "RN48711" on the back. The second tag has the UPC label code "PO#12991" or "PO#13539" on the front. And, the third tag has the care and use instructions printed on one side and the warning notice on the other. Read more.

December 27, 2017 HealthPostures Recalls IntimateRider Chair and RiderMate Bench Due to Fall Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the IntimateRider chair and the RiderMate bench which are designed for the specialty mobility market, including persons with disabilities. The chair and bench have a steel frame and come with a black cloth covering that fits over them. They fold for storage. The chair part number is (P/N7100), and the bench part number is (P/N 7150). October 17, 2017 Target Recalls Leather Pouf Ottoman Due to Suffocation and Choking Hazards

This recall includes black, leather pouf ottomans filled with polystyrene beads. They measure about 22 3/16 inches long by 22 3/16 inches wide by 17 11/16 inches high. 'Room Essentials' and model number 249-19-1286 are printed on a white tag which is sewn into the seam of the product. The model number can also be found on the sales receipt. Read more.

October 17, 2017 Herman Miller Recalls Fiberglass Rocking Chairs Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Herman Miller's Eames-branded molded fiberglass armchair rockers with model numbers beginning with RFAR. The rockers were sold in multiple shell colors and frame finishes, and with or without upholstery. The upholstered rockers measure about 25.25 by 25.5 by 27 inches and the non-upholstered about 25 by 25.5 by 27 inches. Recalled rockers were manufactured from May 1, 2013 through September 8, 2017. The manufacture date in MM/DD/YYYY format and the model number are printed on a label located on the underside of the seat. This recall involves Girona outdoor wooden dining chairs with four legs, and a back and seat made of flat woven weather-resistant wicker straps. The chair is sold in two colors: white (SKU/UPC 536034/0000002536034) and grey (SKU/UPC 536033/0000002536033). The set includes four brown powder coated steel and fabric folding chairs, a square glass table, and an umbrella. This recall involves Noble House's Kaius, Henrietta, and Fauna dining chairs which have solid wood legs and an upholstered seat. The Kaius Fabric chairs have a curved, wood back and fabric cushion and measure 21 inches deep by 23 inches wide by 30 inches high. The Henrietta Fabric chairs have a cushioned seat and back and measure 21 inches deep by 22 inches wide by 32 inches high. The Fauna Dining chairs have a cushioned seat and back and measures 20 inches deep by 20 inches wide by 32 inches high. The recalled chairs have a label underneath the seat that reads "MADE FOR: NOBLE HOUSE HOME FURNISHINGS LLC: 21325 Superior St., Chatsworth CA 91311." Read more.
