August 14, 2012 Toysmith Recalls Animal Snap Bracelets Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall includes Animal Snap Bracelets in assorted metallic fabrics with animal figures, including: Seahorse, Frog, Snake, Starfish, Crab, Lizard, Dolphin and Fish. Manufacturing date codes between 07/11 and 01/12 are printed on a sewn-in label found on the inside of the bracelet. The label includes the Toysmith name and address. A round paper tag is attached to the product with the product name, Toysmith information, the words "Item # 2360 Animal Snap Bracelet," SKU number and bar code. Read more.


October 21, 2011 Target Recall Children's Frog Masks Due to Suffocation Hazard

This recall involves child-sized frog-themed animal masks. The plush mask is green with yellow and red highlights. There are two eye cutouts and a green elastic band with a fastener used to secure the mask at the back of the child’s head. UPC code 06626491474 is printed on a label attached to the mask. March 9, 2011 Fun World Recalls Little Pet Vet and Dr. Littles Halloween Costumes with Toy Stethoscopes Due to Choking Hazard

This recall is limited to the stethoscope accessory from Fun World’s toddler-sized Pet Vet and Dr. Littles costumes. The costumes include a white lab coat, a cap, scrub pants, a scrub shirt and a stethoscope. The cap and scrubs are pink, turquoise or blue. A tracking label bearing the code 10060GFI01 and a production date of either Jan-Mar 2010 or Apr-Jun 2010 is sewn into the neck of the scrub shirt or the lab coat. Read more.


September 8, 2009 Children's Animal Masks and Pendants Recalled by Team Work Trading Due to Risk of Lead Exposure

This recall involves a children’s animal mask and four styles of metal pendants. The mask resembles the face of a cat. The pendants have various animated symbols including a dog tag with fire symbol (Bleach), knife and lion symbol (Final Fantasy), Mickey Mouse symbol (Kingdom of Hearts), and a burning sun symbol (Naruto). October 31, 2006 Family Dollar Recalls "Creepy Cape" Costumes Due to Flammability Hazard

The recall involves 40-inch black vinyl capes with a stand-up collar. A white sticker on the collar of the cape reads, "FLAME RETARDANT PVC" and "MADE IN CHINA." The packaging shows a green-skinned vampire wearing a black cape. Writing on the packaging includes "CREEPY CAPE," "Ages 6 To 60," and "NO. 53600." Read more.
