September 10, 2014 Coleman Recalls Inflatable Rubber River Tubes Due to Skin Irritation Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Walmart

This recall involves Sevylor brand River Racer inflatable rubber tubes. The recalled tubes are black, 36 inches in diameter and about 15 inches tall. Each tube seats one person. The tubes have the Sevylor logo and name, and the River Racer logo and name printed in blue on the outer side. Model number 2000014090 is located on the inner side of the tube below the bottom left corner of the English language warning. Read more.


July 2, 2009 Aqua-Leisure Industries Recalls Inflatable Baby Floats Due to Drowning Hazard

The recalled inflatable baby floats were sold in a variety of styles and colors. The names and model numbers are located on the packaging. A date between 08/02 and 07/08 is molded on the valves of recalled products. Products not included in the recall can be identified with the lettering “NP” molded on the valve. June 18, 2009 Body Boards Recalled by JGR Copa Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

This recall involves the 18” Kick Body Board. The boards have various designs on the front including peace signs, white hibiscus, or yellow smiley face. A green lizard and “Big Lizard™ body boards” are printed on the underside in green. Read more.


May 31, 2007 Kayak Paddle Floats Recalled by NRS Due to Drowning Hazard

The NRS Sea Kayak Paddle Float is an inflatable device that is attached to one side of the paddle to help the kayaker re-enter the kayak in open water. The paddle float is yellow and black and measures 15" wide by 28" long, before inflation. The NRS logo is on one side. This recall involves those paddle floats with inflation tubes that are clear or translucent. Paddle floats with black tubes are not included. Read more.


September 2, 2005 Atico International USA, Inc. Recall of Children’s Arm Band Pool Floats Sold at CVS Stores

The recalled plastic inflatable arm band pool floats are bright orange on the outside and white on the inside with an inflation valve on each side. They are imprinted with a “Surf Club” logo, “CVS/pharmacy,” and “Caution: This is not a lifesaving device. Do not leave child unattended while in use.” When inflated, the arm bands measure about 8-inches long by 6-inches wide. Read more.
