This recall involves models PI2010 and PI9010 of Kidde dual sensor (photoelectric and ionization) smoke alarms. "KIDDE" is printed on the front center of the smoke alarm. This recall involves two styles of Kidde fire extinguishers: plastic handle fire extinguishers and push-button Pindicator fire extinguishers. Plastic handle fire extinguishers: The recall involves 134 models of Kidde fire extinguishers manufactured between January 1, 1973 and August 15, 2017, including models that were previously recalled in March 2009 and February 2015. The extinguishers were sold in red, white and silver, and are either ABC- or BC-rated. The model number is printed on the fire extinguisher label. For units produced in 2007 and beyond, the date of manufacture is a 10-digit date code printed on the side of the cylinder, near the bottom. Digits five through nine represent the day and year of manufacture in DDDYY format. Date codes for recalled models manufactured from January 2, 2012 through August 15, 2017 are 00212 through 22717. For units produced before 2007, a date code is not printed on the fire extinguisher. This recall involves the SWIFT wireless gateway sold with fire alarm systems. The gateways are round, white and measure eight inches in diameter. The gateways are the bridge between the fire alarm control panel and the detectors. These systems are used primarily for indoor or covered areas in commercial buildings, such as in office buildings, hotels, industrial facilities, and apartment complexes. The model number and date codes are printed on the back of the gateway on a white label on the circuit board. The gateways have the following brand names, model numbers and date codes. This recall involves Kidde NightHawk talking combo smoke/CO alarm with model number KN-COSM-IB and manufacture dates between June 1, 2004 and December 31, 2010. The alarms are hard-wired into a home's electric power. The unit has a compartment on the back for the installation of a replaceable 9V backup battery. The alarm is white, round and measures about 5 to 6 inches in diameter. "Kidde" is engraved on the front of the alarm. This recall is for the ILI-MB-E3 and ILI-S-E3 Gamewell-FCI fire alarm panels in commercial buildings. This issue is limited to a specific configuration of Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) devices. To occur, the SLC must include at least two of the following detectors in any combination: Acclimate, 4-Warn, Photo/CO and iFAAST. The issue would occur only if the detectors are addressed within the same FlashScan polling group. Detectors installed in a different combination are not affected. Read more.
This recall involves Sure Signal Products heat-activated fire alarms sold under the following brand names and models: DeTech FST2004H, MasterGuard QR50, Responsive TR70-R and Thermalink QR50. They are white, round and measure about 7 inches in diameter. The alarms have a round fuse at the center. The fuse is white or chrome and about 1.5 inches in diameter, and has a temperature rating of 117°F or 136°F. The alarms were manufactured from January 1, 2004 through July 1, 2015. Date codes are listed in a YYDDD format and range from 04001 through 15182. The alarm's model is printed on a label on the back of the alarm. This recall involves Bosch's Radion wireless round smoke alarms installed as part of Bosch security systems. Bosch security alarm systems use a control keypad labeled "Bosch" on the front surface. The alarms are made of white plastic and measure 5.6 inches across and 2.4 inches high. The alarms have a Bosch label on the back with "RFSM-A," a bar code with "F01U263962" and a 17-digit serial number starting with 0922320XXX. The XXX in the 8th through 10th positions of the serial number designates the date code. Only alarms with date codes 001 through 458 are included in the recall. Read more.
This recall involves Visonic Amber Pendants MCT-212 GS LA S (315) ENR and Visonic Amber Kits GS LA (315) KIT2. The kits contain the pendant and a base station. The Visonic Amber personal miniature transmitter pendant enables the consumer to remotely signal their personal emergency response system to send a request for assistance. The pendant is off-white with a red oval-shaped button on the face. It measures about 1 1/2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide by 5/8 of an inch deep. The white, plastic base station measures 8 inches wide by 2 inches deep by 11 inches high, and has an emergency, call and status check button. A label on the back of the pendant lists the part number and serial number. Recalled pendants sold separately have part number 0-102511 and serial numbers 0114147681 through 2015044165, 2513325212 through 4313226157 and 4513346942 through 5113063274. This recall involves the SBGA-34 audible base that is affixed to ceiling-mounted smoke detectors in order to sound an alarm when the fire alarm system is activated. The audible base has part number S54370-F13 and date codes 0113 through 2314 in a WWYY format printed on a white label on the back of the unit part affixed to the wall. "MODEL SBGA-34" is printed on a blue label also affixed to the back of the device. The base is off-white and measures about 6 inches in diameter. This recall involves Kidde residential smoke alarm model i12010S with manufacture dates between December 18, 2013 and May 13, 2014, combination smoke/CO alarm i12010SCO with manufacture dates between December 30, 2013 and May 13, 2014, and combination smoke/CO alarm model KN-COSM-IBA with manufacture date between October 22, 2013 and May 13, 2014. They are hard-wired into a home's electric power. The i12010S and i12010SCO come with sealed 10-year batteries inside. The KN-COSM-IBA model has a compartment on the front for installation of replaceable AA backup batteries. The alarms are white, round and measure about 5 to 6 inches in diameter.
