February 11, 2011 Rechargeable Batteries in Video Baby Monitors Recalled to Replace by Summer Infant Due to Burn Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Babies R Us

The recall involves Summer Infant Slim and Secure handheld color video monitors with unmarked, MP and BK rechargeable batteries. The Video Monitor is sold in either silver and white, model #02800; or pink and white, model #02805. It has receiver and camera components. The receiver is approximately 4 ¼” tall and 2 ½” wide with a 2.5” LCD screen with the “Summer” logo printed in white on the bottom front. The camera is silver and white. Both the video monitor and receiver components come with A/C adapters but only the receiver unit contains a rechargeable battery. The batteries are unmarked or marked with letters MP or BK on the lower right corner of the battery. Batteries that are marked TCL are not included in this recall. Read more.


February 9, 2011 AmerTac Recalls Night Lights Due to Fire and Burn Hazard

Three night light models are being recalled: model numbers 71193, 71194 and 327879. Only those with KML molded on the back are being recalled. All three models have KML, ETL, the AmerTac™ logo and the model number molded on the back of the night lights’ plastic housing. Model number 71193 is a square shaped, white plastic unit with a flat translucent square window on the front and a button for changing the screen color. This recall involves Refreshing Rings infant teethers/rattles intended for babies ages three months and older. The product has a red, water-filled ring on one end and a black and white polka dot ball on the other end. January 26, 2011 The Land of Nod Recalls Status Furniture "Rosebud" Drop-Side Cribs Due to Entrapment, Suffocation and Fall Hazards

This recall includes “Rosebud” cribs manufactured by Status Furniture. The cribs are white or antique white and have plastic drop-side hardware. “Status Furniture” appears on crib labeling on the lower portion of the headboard. Model number “910” appears on the assembly instructions. Read more.

November 22, 2010 Bassettbaby Recalls to Repair Drop-Side Cribs Due to Entrapment, Suffocation and Fall Hazards

The recalled cribs are wood with a metal mattress support and have a drop side with external plastic hardware. The cribs were sold in a variety of finishes. A label is attached to the footboard or headboard with the names "Bassettbaby" or "Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc." as well as the model number, production date and other information. November 2, 2010 AmerTac Recalls Night Lights Due to Fire and Burn Hazard

The recalled Forever-Glo® Cylinder Nite Lite is a cylinder shaped night light with a white base and clear top that plugs into the wall. Only Model Number 71107 with a manufacturer code of SY is included in this recall. The model number and manufacturer code are printed on the back of the night light. The light measures about 4 inches in height by 1- 1/2 inches wide and is about 1 inch deep. Read more.


October 22, 2010 Victory Land Group Recalls to Repair Drop-Side Cribs Sold Exclusively at Kmart Due to Entrapment, Suffocation and Fall Hazards

This recall involves Heritage Collection 3-in-1 drop-side cribs with Kmart model numbers 07-1248 and 07-1252. They were sold in natural and white colors. A label with Kmart and the model number can be found on the inner side of the crib’s headboard or footboard on the bottom rail. The 3-in-1 infant cribs can also be converted into a toddler bed and a double bed. Read more.
