January 18, 2007 Graco Children’s Products Inc. Recalls to Repair Contempo™ Highchairs Due to Collapse Hazard

The Contempo™ highchairs have an “A” frame design. The highchairs feature six height adjustment positions and three recline positions. The recalled highchairs have model numbers that begin with 3800, 3803, 3804, 3805, 3810 and 3811 followed by a three letter fashion code. Model numbers included in the recall include: 3800COU, 3800DRB, 3800FMT, 3800GGG, 3800GRM, 3800HEM, 3800JEN, 3800LEG, 3800MNS, 3800OWD, 3800SND, 3800TFE, 3800RIT, 3803HRL, 3804CNR, 3805BDA, 3810PEW, 3810PST and 3811PST. The highchairs were manufactured from October 27, 2005 through November 22, 2006. The model number and manufacturing date are printed underneath the snack tray of these highchairs. Read more.


January 17, 2007 Kids II Inc. Recalls Teethers Due to Choking Hazard

The Bright Starts Star Teether Beads (model 8483) has textured soft plastic beads in bright colors and various shapes connected to a flexible plastic ring. The beads on this model are shaped as stars, spirals and ovals. November 2, 2006 Various Firms Recall Flashing Pacifiers for Choking, Aspiration and Strangulation Hazards

The units involved are flashing pacifiers and flashing pacifiers with whistles. The pacifiers are clear or colored purple, blue, pink or green. The pacifiers have five flashing LED lights that are red and blue, red and light green and orange. Some pacifiers are sold with a rainbow cord that is attached to handles, and some cords have breakaway connectors. One pacifier has multi-colored beads on the cords in the shapes of barrels, trains, boats and various animals. Pacifiers were sold in clamshell packages. The packaging has a warning that states they are for "12+ Years" or "6+ Years." Some of the products have a warning on the packaging that they are not a real pacifier, but a practical joke. October 12, 2006 Scandinavian Child Recalls Cariboo Baby Changing Tables Due to Fall Hazard

The frame of the folding changing table is made of wood with two folding legs and has a cream colored changing table cloth surface with zippers and side pockets. The product also has a bottom shelf cloth with Velcro strips. September 19, 2006 Regal Lager Inc. Recalls Travel Cots Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled travel cot consists of an aluminum frame with four legs that holds a fabric enclosure for a small child with mesh windows on all sides and a zippered mesh opening on the top. The cot has big black labels on each long side with a white T in a red circle, as well as phil & teds logos on each short end. Read more.


May 25, 2006 "Baby 2 Pack" Pacifiers Recalled for Choking Hazard

The recalled pacifiers are rubber nipples attached to a white or light blue plastic guard. The cardboard packaging has a picture of a baby, some toy blocks, a toy train engine and a diaper pin with a bear on it. The pacifiers are sold in packs of two. Writing on the front of the packaging includes, "Baby," "2 pack Pacifiers" and "BI194." The back of the packaging has an American flag and the writing, "AN AMERICAN COMPANY." Read more.


May 9, 2006 Bicycle Child Carriers Recalled Due to Fall Hazard

The carrier is a seat for a child that is attached to the back of an adult bicycle. The carrier is gray plastic with a blue rubber back and seat pad, a gray head rest, and black straps. Model number SW571T is printed on the carrier's packaging and in the owner's manual. "PTI" is printed on a yellow warning sticker on the back of the carrier seat. Read more.



February 1, 2006 Ace Han Baby Walkers Recalled Due to Stairway Fall Hazard

The recalled walkers have eight wheels and an activity tray with interactive toys. The walkers are blue and pink with various designs on the cloth seat. "Imported by Ace Han Corp" is printed on labels located on the base of the walkers. Read more.
