The recalled cloth teether book entitled "trucks" has a yellow dump truck on the front cover on a blue background. Attached to the top of the book is a yellow rattle with a green teether attached on the right side of the rattle and an orange teether attached to the left side of the rattle. Read more.


July 26, 2007 Pacifiers Decorated with Crystals Recalled Due to Aspiration and Ingestion Hazards

The recall involves pacifiers that were purchased from stores, decorated with Swarovski crystals, then resold to consumers. The crystals were glued on the pacifier's handle and guard. January 17, 2007 Kids II Inc. Recalls Teethers Due to Choking Hazard

The Bright Starts Star Teether Beads (model 8483) has textured soft plastic beads in bright colors and various shapes connected to a flexible plastic ring. The beads on this model are shaped as stars, spirals and ovals. November 2, 2006 Various Firms Recall Flashing Pacifiers for Choking, Aspiration and Strangulation Hazards

The units involved are flashing pacifiers and flashing pacifiers with whistles. The pacifiers are clear or colored purple, blue, pink or green. The pacifiers have five flashing LED lights that are red and blue, red and light green and orange. Some pacifiers are sold with a rainbow cord that is attached to handles, and some cords have breakaway connectors. One pacifier has multi-colored beads on the cords in the shapes of barrels, trains, boats and various animals. Pacifiers were sold in clamshell packages. The packaging has a warning that states they are for "12+ Years" or "6+ Years." Some of the products have a warning on the packaging that they are not a real pacifier, but a practical joke. May 25, 2006 "Baby 2 Pack" Pacifiers Recalled for Choking Hazard

The recalled pacifiers are rubber nipples attached to a white or light blue plastic guard. The cardboard packaging has a picture of a baby, some toy blocks, a toy train engine and a diaper pin with a bear on it. The pacifiers are sold in packs of two. Writing on the front of the packaging includes, "Baby," "2 pack Pacifiers" and "BI194." The back of the packaging has an American flag and the writing, "AN AMERICAN COMPANY." Read more.


December 1, 2005 Ideal Distributors Inc. Recall of Pacifiers

The recalled pacifiers are blue, white, yellow or pink plastic with a yellow nipple and a circular or clove-shaped handle. The nipples are filled with honey or a sugary substance. The pacifiers measure about 3-inches long and 1 1/2-inches wide. Read more.


June 23, 2005 Prestige Toy Corp. Recall of Spinning Water Teethers

The water-filled teether is bright green or blue with a green and blue plastic butterfly or turtle in the center, which spins around. The spinner contains small beads which produce a rattling sound. They have Style #47447 (butterfly) and #47448 (turtle) written on the packaging. Read more.


May 12, 2005 Delta Enterprise Corp. Recall of Lov's Pacifiers

The recalled pacifier measures about 2-1/4 inches in width and 1-1/2 inches in length and has button or hinged handles. The pacifiers are white with various colored handles. Designs are imprinted on some pacifier shields. One pacifier shield is decorated with a pink elephant, a purple giraffe with green polka dots, a blue lion with yellow fur and a blue cloud and yellow sun. Another pacifier shield has blue stars with Santa shapes. The amber colored nipple, imprinted with the words "caoui," "chouc" and "pur," is about 1-1/8 inches long. "Lov 2-Pack," "Decorated Orthodontic Pacifier," and "97705" are printed on the front packaging of the pacifiers. April 20, 2005 California International Trading Recall of Pacifiers and Two Electronic Toys

The recall includes one type of pacifier (Light-up Pacifiers) and two types of toys (New Style Pianos and High Toys Choochoo Toy Trains). The Light-up Pacifier is a plastic pacifier, which also acts as a whistle. When a button on the pacifier's handle is pushed, the pacifier lights up with flashing LED lights. The New Style Piano is a battery operated musical piano, which measures about 6 inches across and comes in orange and blue colors. The High Toys Choochoo Toy Train is a battery operated train that measures about 8 inches across and 5 inches high. The main body of the train is light blue with red wheels, with tiny foam balls contained inside its pink smokestack. Read more.


April 7, 2005 Solar Inc. Recall of Flashing Toy Pacifiers

The recalled pacifier necklace consists of a 28-inch multicolored cord with a 3-inch plastic pacifier that comes in assorted colors. A hole at the tip of the nipple is used as a blow hole for the whistle. The pacifier handle operates as the on-off button for the flashing light on both pacifiers. "Flashing Pacifier" or "2-in-1 Flashing Pacifier with Whistle Necklace" is printed on the packaging of the pacifiers. Read more.
