March 18, 2020 Belle Chemical Recalls Sodium Hydroxide and Potassium Hydroxide Products Due to Failure to Meet Child-Resistant Packaging Requirement and Violation of FHSA Labeling Requirement

This recall involves sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide products that are sold in three sizes: 4 ounce, 8-ounce and 1-pound. The products are labeled as being used for soaps, cleaners, water treatment, food preparation, pH buffer and metal dissolution. The potassium hydroxide products and the 4-ounce and 8-ounce sodium hydroxide products are sold in black resealable bags; the 1-pound sodium hydroxide product is sold in a white resealable bag. February 19, 2020 Contigo Reannounces Recall of 5.7 Million Kids Water Bottles Due to Choking Hazard; Additional Incidents with Replacement Lids Provided in Previous Recall

This recall involves Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles and replacement lids that were given to consumers as part of the August 2019 recall of this product. The base and cover of the clear silicone spout will always be BLACK. Only black colored spout base and spout cover models are included in this recall. Contigo is printed on the rim and along the front near the bottom of the bottle. The water bottles come in three sizes (13 ounce, 14 ounce and 20 ounce) and four colors (solid color, graphics, stainless steel and stainless steel solid colors). February 6, 2020 Sun Organic Recalls Wintergreen Essential Oils Due to Failure to Meet Child Resistant Packaging Requirements; Risk of Poisoning

This recall includes all 2-, 4-, 8-, and 16-fluid-ounce amber glass bottles of Sun Essential Oils, Wintergreen sold prior to April 12, 2019. The label on each bottle displays the Sun Essential Oils logo, an image of an American Wintergreen plant, states "Wintergreen," and lists the size of the container. Read more.


April 25, 2019 TriDerma Recalls Pain Relief Cream Due to Failure to Meet Child Resistant Closure Requirement; Risk of Poisoning (Recall Alert)

This recall involves TriDerma Pain Relief Cream with 4% Lidocaine in a jar and tube. The 4 ounce jar is white with a lime green and pink printed label and has a white dome cap. The 2.2 ounce tube is white with a lime green and pink printed label. The lot numbers and expiration dates of the affected products can be found on the bottom of the jar and on the front of the crimped end of the tube. "TriDerma Pain Relief Cream" is printed on the jar and tube. December 13, 2018 Lotus Foods Recalls Ramen Noodle Soup Cups Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

The product involves Lotus Foods two ounce ramen noodle soups packaged in paper cups that are not microwave safe. The recalled soup cups contain organic brown rice noodles and were sold in three flavors; red miso rice ramen noodle soup, masala curry rice ramen noodle soup and tom yum rice noodle soup. The UPC code is printed on the back side of the cup to the left of the front panel. May 29, 2013 H&M Reannounces Recall of Children's Water Bottles Due to Choking Hazard

This recall includes previously recalled 16 oz. plastic water bottles that came in pink with a crackle design or blue. The bottles have flip-top lids in coordinated pink and blue colors. "H&M Sweden," www.hm.com and a date clock with the manufacture date are embossed on the bottom of the bottle. The recalled products were manufactured in June 2012. The inner circle on the date clock stamp contains the number 12 with an arrow between the two numbers. The arrow points at the number 6 in an outer circle of numbers. Read more.



November 16, 2007 Hobby Lobby Stores Recalls Halloween-Themed Baskets Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

This recall involves all 2007 Halloween-themed baskets with item number 5464201. The item number is located next to the price on the paper hangtag on the handle. The plastic baskets are either black or orange with two carrying handles. An emblem of a witch, bat or pumpkin is attached to each side of the handle. The baskets measure 3 inches wide by 6 inches long by 4 ½ inches deep. Read more.


October 25, 2007 Family Dollar Stores Recalls Halloween Pails Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

This recall involves purple Halloween pails with a picture of a witch figure silhouetted against a green moon. The pail measures about 6 1/2 inches high. “Distributed by Family Dollar, Inc,” SKU number 1033953, and UPC number 017845000591 are printed on a label on the pail.
