December 19, 2017 Squatty Potty Recalls Children's Toilet Step Stools Due to Injury and Fall Hazards

This recall involves the SquattyPottymus children's toilet step stools used to assist a child in reaching a toilet seat. The plastic step stools measure about 15.8 by 16.8 by 10 inches and were sold individually or as a part of a set, which included a toilet seat and decorative stickers. The step stool is designed to look like a gray hippopotamus with blue or purple eyes. It has a height-adjusting aqua blue hat top step and cut-outs that function as handles on each side. Read more.


June 15, 2011 Target Expands Recall of Child Booster Seats Following Additional Reports of Falls

The expanded recall involves all Circo Booster Seats, including those sold as early as 2005. The plastic booster seats are blue with green trim and a white plastic restraint buckle. They attach to an adult chair to boost a child to a table. “Circo” and “Booster Seat” can be found on a green label located in the front of the booster seat. Read more.


December 6, 2007 RC2 Recalls Potty Training Seats Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

The recall involves the First Years 3-in-1 Flush and Sounds potty training seats. Each seat has either a yellow chair with a green removable seat and a purple lift out-pot or a blue chair with a white removable seat and green lift out-pot. The words "100 Acre Wood" are molded on the chair back. The plaque inserted into the back of the seat contains molded Winnie the Pooh and Tigger characters. Read more.
