July 31, 2009 Bass Amplifiers Recalled by Fender Musical Instruments Due to Fire Hazard

The recall involves the SWR® Natural Blonde™ 120V acoustic bass amplifier, model 44-60600-000. The amplifier measures about 26 inches x 16 inches x15 inches, and has a blonde-textured vinyl covering with a black control plate and black stamped steel vibration-free grill. The model number is located on the top rear panel of the amplifier. “SWR” and “Natural Blonde” are printed on the front of the amplifier. Read more.


March 17, 2007 Casio® Inc. Announces Recall of Electronic Keyboards Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves model CTK-710 of the Casio® 61-key full-size electronic musical keyboards. The size of the keyboard is 37-11/16-inches by 14-1/16-inches by 5-1/4 inches. Products with serial numbers ranging from 7030001 through 7040400 and 7041901 through 7043500 are included in this recall. The brand and model information are found on the front of the unit above the keyboard and the serial number is found inside the battery compartment located on the underside of the unit. Read more.



April 11, 2006 Yamaha Corp. of America Recalls Bench Sold with Digital Piano Due to Collapse Hazard

The YDP213 Digital Piano is black with a black and white keyboard and brown trim. The bench is black with a cushioned seat. White stick-on labels on the underside of the bench give the assembly instructions and references several requirements. All labels have Yamaha written on them. The serial number and "Made in China" is stamped on the underside of the seat. The YDP213 Digital Piano and BC-104DR(U) Keyboard Bench are sold together with the bench boxed within the piano box. The model number of the bench appears only on the box within the piano box and not on the bench itself. Read more.


November 29, 2005 Yamaha Corporation of America Recall of Synthesizers

The S90 ES Synthesizer is black with a black and white keyboard. "S90 ES" and "Yamaha" are written on the front of the synthesizer. Read more.



June 14, 2004 Allen Organ Company Recall of Wooden Organ Bench

The recalled wooden organ bench is sold primarily to churches and theaters as part of a package that also includes an organ, console, pedal board, and speaker cabinets. A very small number of the wooden organ benches were sold separately. The wooden organ bench measures 26 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 48 inches long. The benches are made of oak, red oak, and walnut colored wood. Read more.
