April 20, 2023 DynaDrive Fresh Water Well Pumps Recalled Due to Risk of Electric Shock; Manufactured by Davey Water Products

This recall involves the DynaDrive Pumps with model numbers DD60-10NPT and DD90-11NPT and serial numbers between 190791000 and 223365720. The recalled products are water pumps used to stabilize water pressure for fresh water wells. The pumps are constant pressure pumps with an integrated single phase to 3 phase variable speed controller. The pumps have a yellow canister attached to a stainless steel metal casing and aluminum-coated motor. A product identification label sticker is located on the side of the black controller that includes the model and serial number for the unit. Read more.


May 5, 2021 Scott Fetzer Consumer Brands Recalls Multi-Use Water Pumps Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

This recall involves all WAYNE WaterBUG GLOW model WWB Glow 1/6 HP Multi-Use Pump units with SKU number 57732-WYN1. The SKU number is printed on the yellow spec decal on the side of the pump. The model number is printed on the warranty tag attached to the power cord. The pump is a residential submersible water removal pump with an automatic shut-off feature. When the pump is running, the plug glows green and when it shuts off, the plug glows red. The pump has a black strap for carrying and placing the pump where it is needed. January 6, 2011 ITT Water Technology Recalls Pumps Due to Electric Shock/Electrocution Hazard

The recall involves Goulds, Red Jacket and Bell & Gossett Pumps used in residential applications to pump wastewater and sewage. The pumps are sky blue or red and display the brand names Goulds, Red Jacket or Bell & Gossett. The recall involves motors included with lawn sprinkler pumps and jet pumps manufactured by F. E. Myers Co. The recall also includes replacement pump motors that were sold separately. Read more.


October 18, 2007 Additional Injuries Prompt Re-announcement of Sportsstuff Recall of Air Pumps

The recalled products are air pumps with model numbers 57-1504-A and 57-1504 that are used to inflate low pressure inflatable items such as rafts and toys. The Model 57-1504-A pump was sold separately with an assortment of interlocking nozzles. The Model 57-1504 pump was sold with the Sportsstuff “Launch Pod”, an inflatable water trampoline. July 17, 2007 Injuries Prompt Recall of Combination Tire Inflator and Hand Pumps by Genuine Innovations

This recall involves the Genuine Innovations Second Wind MTB model with part numbers 2525, 2525-O or 3519 and the Wrench Force Two Shot model with part numbers 84995 or 80383 combination tire inflator and hand pumps. These devices consist of a hand pump and CO2 cartridge inflator. The part number can only be found on the packaging. Read more.


March 28, 2007 Inflator Pumps Recalled By Stearns Inc. Due to Laceration Hazard

The recalled inflator pump has a blue body with a black handle, hose, and pressure gage. The pump is 5-inches (12.7 cm) high and weighs about 3 pounds. West Marine is printed on a white sticker on the top of the pump housing. A second label contains a "caution" statement along with Ho Lee Co., Ltd. and UL listing information. The manufacturer's model number HB-183BG and the date code 1203 are also on the label. Read more.


January 11, 2007 Sportsstuff Inc. Recalls Air Pumps for Laceration Hazard

The recalled products are 2.5 PSI pumps with model numbers 57-1504-A and 57-1504 that are used to inflate low pressure inflatable items such as rafts and toys. The Model No. 57-1504-A pump was sold separately with an assortment of interlocking nozzles to adapt to a number of needs. The Model 57-1504 pump was sold with the Sportsstuff Launch Pod, an inflatable water trampoline sold under Sportsstuff number 58-1002. The model number and the date code "0104" are located on the Underwriters’ Laboratories label on the top of each pump. "2.5 PSI" was not written on the air pump, but was written on the packaging. The recalled pumps are general in purpose, but are sometimes used in fire suppression systems. The pumps were sold under the Goulds Pumps, Bell & Gossett and Red Jacket Water Products brands. The pumps can be identified by having Model NPE, NPO, MCC, MCS, SM or Series 3530 on their nameplate. Recalled pumps were manufactured between December 2005 and September 7, 2006. They have date code M05, A06, B06, C06, D06, E06, F06, G06, H06 or J06. The date code is the first three digits of the serial number on the pump nameplate. Read more.
