Recalls: Tools

This recall involves the Squids 3705 Wire Tool Attachments - Screw Gate Tool Tail. The product is used to securely tether tools to prevent them from falling on those below while working at heights. It has a 5 ¾-inch-long orange wire loop with a black and green tag. "Ergodyne" and "Model 3705" are printed on the black front tag. The back of the tag is green. They were sold in packs of six or sold as part of kits numbered 3170, 3183, 3188, and 3189. This recall only applies to model number 3705. Read more.

This recall involves DeWALT 40" Multi-Functional Utility Bars designed at one end for prying and at the other for gripping boards. The bars are yellow at one end and black at the other. The name "DeWALT" and the model number DWHT55293 are printed in black on the yellow end. Read more.

This recall involves Kobah Ice Axes of lengths 60, 65, 70 and 75 centimeters. The axes each have a steel pick and adze joined at the top of an orange aluminum handle shaft by a black polyamide resin head. There is a steel spike in the bottom of the handle shaft. "Kobah," "SMC" and Manufacturer's Lot Number (MLN) 10864 are printed on the handle shaft. Read more.

This recall involves Penn State Industries CSCBARR5 quick change jaw chuck systems used with woodworking lathes. The recalled jaw chuck systems are made of steel, are silver in color and measure about 3.875 inches in diameter. "PSI Woodworking Products" and product number "CSCBARR5" are printed on the side of the chuck. Read more.

This recall involves the Pressmaster Xcelite professional stripping tool for round cables of all insulation types. The tool is black and is approximately six inches long. "Xcelite" "CJS 200" are printed on the face of the tool. Read more.

This recall involves Ryobi model P113 dual chemistry battery chargers designed for use with both NiCd and Li-Ion portable power tool batteries. Battery chargers included in this recall are green and grey and have "Ryobi" printed in white lettering on the front of the charger. The model number and date code can be found on the data plate located on the bottom of the charger. Model P113 chargers with year/week (YY/WW) date codes between 0731-0852, without a nine digit part number, are included in the recall. Read more.
