April 4, 2024 C2 Crank Cocking Aids for Excalibur Crossbows Recalled Due to Impact Injury and Laceration Hazards; Manufactured by Excalibur Crossbow

This recall involves Excalibur Crossbow's C2 Crank sold as a cocking aid for crossbows. The C2 Crank has two plastic cocking hooks attached to the string of the C2 Crank. The C2 Crank was sold in black. The "Excalibur Crossbow" logo is on the front of the unit. The part number 2199 and the UPC number 626192021991 are located on the packaging. Read more.


November 16, 2017 Precision Shooting Recalls Archery Crossbows Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves all FANG XT, FANG LT and THRIVE archery crossbows with serial numbers 2404285-2514039. Both the Fang XT and Fang LT have a 19 inch wide axle-to-axle bow with a black foot stirrup attached to the front. The Thrive's bow is 18 inches wide axle-to-axle and has a folding black foot stirrup attached to the front. The Fang XT measurement is about 33 inches from end to end. the Fang LT measures 32 inches and the Thrive measures 32 to 35 inches. The models have split limbs made of fiberglass. Cam pulleys are mounted between the upper and lower halves of both limbs. They have an integrated barrel, pistol grip, and stock made of composite material. The crossbows come with a scope, under-mounted quiver, string stops, a cocking rope, and rail lube. The PSE logo and model names are on an emblem mounted above the trigger housing on the left and right sides of the crossbows. They are also printed onto the front of each limb. The serial number is on the bottom of the trigger grip.The model number can be found on the product hang tag and on the box. The Fang XT and LT come in Mossy Oak Country & Skullworks 2 camo and muddy girl colors. The Thrive comes in Mossy Oak Country. December 20, 2016 Carbon Express Recalls Crossbows Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves two Carbon Express Blade crossbows in black (model 20292) or camouflage (model 20240). Both crossbows have "Blade" printed on the sides of the bow. The bows have a half aluminum rail and a die cast riser. All models have a black pistol grip with a black butt stock and weigh about 6.5 pounds. The crossbows shoot 320fps and have a 13-inch power stroke. The model number is printed on a metallic sticker on the bottom left limb of the crossbow. Read more.


June 3, 2014 Mission Archery Recalls Crossbows Due to Injury Hazard; Can Fire Unexpectedly

This recall involves Mission Archery crossbows that have the automatic safety located behind the trigger at rear of scope mount, models MXB 320, MXB Dagger, MXB 400 and MXB 360; and serial numbers ranging from XB04879 to XB16555. The crossbows were sold in black, lost camo AT (a three-color camouflage pattern with light brown, dark brown, dark green), white camo and pink camo pattern. The crossbows measure between 29 and 35 inches long and were available individually or as part of a package that included a black scope, quiver, three bolts and a rope cocking aid. Mission by Mathews is engraved on the left rear side of the crossbow's rail. The serial number is located on the underside of the rail directly behind the safety. This recall involves Precision Shooting Equipment's TAC Elite, TAC Ordnance and Enigma crossbows. The TAC Elite Crossbow is black with a 22-inch wide bow. The crossbow has split limbs made of fiberglass. Cam pulleys are mounted between the upper and lower halves of both limbs. "PSE Archery" is printed on the outer side of the upper and lower halves of both limbs. It has an aluminum rail/barrel, a pistol grip and an M-4 carbine style adjustable stock that allows the crossbow length to be extended from 41.5 inches to 45 inches. The PSE logo and the model name are on an emblem mounted above the trigger housing on the left side of the crossbow. The crossbow comes with a bipod, a scope and three arrows. TAC Elite crossbows with serial numbers 2097056 through 2134901 are being recalled. The TAC Ordnance Crossbow is black with a 22-inch wide bow. The crossbow has split limbs made of fiberglass. Cam pulleys are mounted between the upper and lower halves of both limbs. "PSE Archery" is printed on the outer side of the upper and lower halves of both limbs. It is 34.75 inches long with aluminum rails and does not have a trigger housing or a stock. The PSE logo and the model name are on an emblem mounted near the rear of the left side of the crossbow. The crossbow comes with a bipod, a scope and three arrows. TAC Elite crossbows with serial numbers 2121938 through 2133384 are being recalled. Serial numbers for the TAC Elite and TAC Ordnance are engraved directly above the hand grip. The Enigma crossbow is camouflage colored. It has a 20-inch wide bow with a black stirrup attached to the front. The crossbow has split limbs made of fiberglass. Cam pulleys are mounted between the upper and lower halves of both limbs. It has aluminum rails, a pistol grip and a rifle style stock with an adjustable butt plate that allows the crossbow length to be extended from 40.5 inches to 44.75 inches. The PSE logo and the model name are on an emblem mounted above the trigger housing on the left side of the crossbow. The crossbow comes with a scope, a side-mounted quiver, a sling and a cocking rope. All Enigma crossbows are being recalled. Read more.

This recall involves the Excalibur Matrix Mega 405 crossbows. Matrix 405 is printed on a label on the left side of the stock. The crossbow was sold in a mossy oak treestand camouflage pattern. The crossbow measures about 36 inches long and was sold individually or as part of a package with a black scope, four-arrow quiver and bracket, four arrows, four 150-grain field points and a rope-cocking aid. June 19, 2013 Axis Arrows Recalled by Easton Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves Easton Axis arrows in four different sizes and batch numbers, including size 300 with batch number 13169686, size 340 with batch number 13170143, size 400 with batch number 13170142 and size 500 with batch number 13169487. The carbon composite arrows are used for hunting and target archery. They are black with green and gray-colored graphics. January 2, 2013 Academy Sports + Outdoors Recalls Crossbow Cocking Ropes Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves Game Winner® cocking ropes with model number FSGWAR3018 and UPC 400214726596. The cocking ropes help users get a better grip on the crossbow string and aid in pulling it back. They have an approximately 50-inch long black nylon rope, two black plastic hooks and two t-handles. The model and UPC numbers are located on the instruction card that comes with the product.
