December 27, 2017 Rocky Mountain Bicycles Recall Mountain Bicycles Due to Crash Hazard

This recall involves all model year 2018 Altitude, Instinct and Pipeline mountain bicycles. The carbon fiber and aluminum bicycles were sold in different colors. The model name is printed on a sticker on the top tube of the bicycles. Rocky Mountain is printed on the down tube. The Rocky Mountain logo is also printed on the headbadge on the headtube. The specified platform family is also printed on the rear triangle of the bicycle at the seatstay. Read more.


December 21, 2017 Brompton Bicycle Recalls Bicycles Due To Fall Hazard

This recall involves Folding Brompton bicycles with "Brompton" printed on the bicycle's frame. Only bicycles with serial numbers 1403284144 to 1705150001 (manufactured from April 2014 through May 2017) are included in the recall. The serial number is printed on a curved plate or sticker, applied to the rear of the seat tube. If the barcode sticker on the bike is faded or rubbed off, submit the six digit frame number stamped into the metal plate behind the bottom bracket and seat tube via email to support@brompton.com to receive the correlating serial number. December 1, 2017 Camso Recalls Dirt to Snow Bike Conversion Kits Due to Crash and Impact Hazards

This recall involves model year 2017 Camso DTS 129 kits that are used to convert off road motorcycles or dirt bikes to track and ski vehicles. The kits have a serial number starting with 9025IUEXXXX located on the front right side of the undercarriage . DTS 129 and the Camso logo are printed on the side of the product. Read more.


November 7, 2017 Norco Bicycles Recalls Children's Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves 2015, 2016 and 2017 model year Norco children's bicycles with Samox SAC30-111NA square taper bicycle cranks in 140mm and 152mm lengths. The crank model number AC30 is located on the inside of both crank arms, and the crank length is stamped at the end of each crank arm. Included in this recall are 20- and 24-inch wheeled bicycles with the following model names: Storm 2.1, Storm 4.1, Charger 2.1, Charger 4.1, Fluid HT 2.3, Fluid HT 4.3, Fluid FS 2.2, and Fluid FS 4.2. October 4, 2017 SRAM Recalls Bicycle Brakes Due to Crash and Injury Hazards

This recall involves the Avid SD7 bicycle mechanical rim brake. There is a date code stamped on the back of the brake arm with the date format DDMMYY representing the day, month and year of manufacture. The brakes were sold separately by SRAM and were also installed as original equipment on ElliptiGO model 11R elliptical cycles. Read more.


July 11, 2017 Superpedestrian Recalls Electric Bicycle Conversion Wheels Due to Fall and Crash Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the Copenhagen Wheel electric bicycle conversion wheels with serial numbers 01031708600020000000 through 01031710400250000000 for multi-speed wheels and 02031708600020000000 through 02031710400250000000 for single speed wheels. The Copenhagen wheel converts a standard bicycle into an electric bike. It is compatible with 26 inches and 700c (about 28 inches) wheel sizes. All components are housed inside the wheels red hub. The Superpedestrian logo appears in white on the hub. The serial number can be found on the wheel's user interface panel just above the axle. Read more.

This recall involves select Wound Up Tandem Duo Disc bicycle forks manufactured between June 2015 and December 2015. The forks have a carbon crown and legs and the words "Wound Up" printed on the legs. Serial numbers included in the recall are: AC662, BJ573, CD758, CE779, CE789, CE800, CE805, CE806, CF830, CF831, CG843, CG845, CG848, CG851, CG852, CG853, CG862, CG863, CG865, CH913, CH914, CH915, CH916, CI925, CI926, CI928, CI929, CI931, CI932, CI933, CI973, CI974, CI975, CI976, CK008, CK009, CL056 and CL062. June 8, 2017 Cycling Sports Group Recalls GT Mountain Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves 2017 GT mountain bicycle models: Karakoram Sport, Karakoram Comp, Aggressor Sport, Aggressor Comp and Aggressor Expert. The bikes were sold in a variety of colors including, black, blue, gunmetal grey and neon yellow. Only models with 1) a solid black GT logo on the downtube and 2) a stem marked "Ø31.8 9-10N.m" are included in the recall. May 15, 2017 VanMoof Recalls Bicycles Due to Fall and Impact Hazards

This recall involves VanMoof B-Series and S-Series commuter-style bicycles manufactured between 2014 and 2016. All S series bikes have a grey anodized frame and all B series bikes have a white powder coated frame. There are - for both Series 3 frame types - a straight frame, a straight frame with an integrated chain lock, and a dropdown frame. B-Series and S-Series serial numbers are stamped on the bottom bracket of the bicycle between the pedals on the bottom of the bicycle. Read more.


April 26, 2017 Chromag Bicycle Stems Recalled by Riser Holdings Due to Fall and Injury Hazards

This recall involves Chromag bicycle stems used to clamp the fork steerer and/or handlebars. The recalled stems include models BZA, Director, HiFi and Ranger. Only stems with a "Z" marked inside the bolt head are included in this recall. "Chromag" and the model name are printed on the stems. The stems were sold separately from bicycles. Bolts used in the stems are 6 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length. The stems were sold in various colors including black, red, blue, gold, purple and silver. Read more.
