September 28, 2006 Cervelo Cycles Inc. Announces Recall of Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

This recall only involves the 2005 model year R2.5 model bicycles and bicycle frames with serial numbers higher than R251700. The model numbers and serial numbers are printed on the bicycle frame tubes. The frames have clear coating over a carbon fiber with either red and white "Cervélo" decals on the down tube, seat tube and head tube, or blue and white decals in the same locations. Read more.


July 12, 2006 M2Racer LLC Recalls Bicycle Headsets for Fall Hazard

The headset is the component on a bicycle which provides a interface that can rotate between the bicycle fork and the bicycle frame itself. The Conventional Headset is constructed of an anodized black alloy housing, stainless steel, and polymers. The Integrated Lite Headset is constructed of a black polymer housing and light weight alloys. The Integrated Headset weighs 29 grams; the Conventional Headset weighs 39 grams. Read more.



July 7, 2006 Felt Bicycles Announce Recall to Repair Mountain Bicycles for Brake Failure

This recall involves all model year 2005 and 2006 Kinesis made RXC bicycles. The frames on these bicycles are made with carbon fiber rear seat stays and are equipped with V-style brakes, and not equipped with disk brakes from the factory. Frames affected by this recall were shipped to dealers between October 2004 and April 2006. Read more.



March 7, 2006 Nashbar Direct Recall Bicycle Resistance Trainers for Repair

The Nashbar Watt Master and 2006 Fluid trainers are metallic gray with graphic Nashbar "N" decals running vertically along the rear face of the right rear support leg. March 7, 2006 Fall Hazard Prompts Performance Inc. to Recall Bicycle Resistance Trainers for Repair

Trainers are folding stands that lift and apply resistance to the rear wheel of a standard bike which converts it to a stationary trainer. The CenturyV trainers are gloss black with red and white decals running vertically along the rear face of the rear support legs. The left leg has an additional vertical red "Travel Trac CenturyV" decal. The Travel Trac Mag Force+ has gray front legs and red rear legs. The right rear leg has a large vertical decal on its rear face with "Mag Force" in large yellow letters and "Travel Trac" in small white letters. The recalled bicycle handlebar stem is black. Stems with production codes 01 03 through 45 04, and stems with no production code are included in this recall. The production code is the bottom set of numbers located on the end of the stem. Read more.
