March 11, 2005 CF Roark Welding & Engineering Recall of Bicycle Frames

The recall involves custom titanium bicycle frames for road bicycles manufactured and distributed by Roark. The bicycle frames have a "Titanium" sticker on the top tube and a "Roark" sticker on the down tube. Every bicycle frame is built to the unique specification of each customer and has serial number and manufactured date located on the bottom bracket. February 18, 2005 Cannondale Bicycle Corporation Recall of Bicycle Suspension Seat Posts

The recall involves Lee Chi model 1-X bicycle suspension seat posts. The seat post was manufactured by a component manufacturer for Cannondale and installed on various 2005 model year Cannondale brand bicycles. These seat posts have a natural anodized aluminum finish, a 1-X logo is laser etched on the outer tube, and a black, yellow and red instruction booklet with the 1-X logo is attached. Lee Chi is also known as Promax, but the seat posts are not marked with either name. Specific Cannondale bicycle models with affected seat posts are listed in the table below. January 14, 2005 Selle Royal/fi'zi:k Recall of Bicycle Seats

The recall involves Selle Royal/fi'zi:k [cp]3pavé bicycle seat part number 7403SXS 03 9072 with a manufacture date of 10/03. The bicycle seat is an original equipment (OEM) seat installed on 2004 model year Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI) brand Novara Express bicycles. The bicycle seat has a clear plastic base with "fi'zi:k", "made in Italy" and a date code dial printed on the base. Read more.

The recall involves 2005 Manitou Nixon, Stance and Sherman bicycle suspension forks installed on various high-end mountain bicycles. November 2, 2004 Quality Bicycle Products Recall of Bicycle Forks

The recall involves carbon fiber/aluminum forks included with the Salsa model F-01 Campeon frame set in either White/Black or Red/Black color combinations. Units included in this recall have a code of CK, DA, or DB and a serial number from 03400 to 04600. The model number, date code and serial number are located on a label at the base of the steerer tube near the crown of the fork. Read more.
