January 6, 2022 Polaris Recalls Youth All-Terrain Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves certain VINs of Polaris Model Year 2022 Outlaw 110 EFI Youth ATVs. The recalled ATVs were sold in gray/lime and gray/pink color combinations. "POLARIS" is printed on both sides of the vehicle below the headlights and on both sides of the seat. "Outlaw 110" is printed on both sides of the chassis. January 5, 2022 CRT Motor Recalls Youth All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) Due to Crash Hazard and Violation of Federal Safety Standard; Sold Exclusively at Motor Planet

The recall involves CRT Motor's youth ATVs, models DF125AVA and DF125AVB. The vehicles are black, blue, green, green camouflage, pink camouflage, red and yellow. The model number is located on the VIN plate at the lower section of the front of the frame. Read more.

December 23, 2021 Polaris Recalls Recreational Off-Road Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves certain VINs of the following Polaris recreational off-road vehicles: model year 2021 RZR TURBO S Velocity, RZR TURBO S 4 Velocity, RZR XP Turbo and RZR XP 4 Turbo; model year 2020-2022 RZR XP 1000 and model year 2021-2022 RZR XP 4 1000. This recall also involves certain VINs of the following Polaris recreational off-road vehicles: model year 2021-2022 GENERAL 1000 and GENERAL XP 1000; model year 2022 GENERAL 4 1000 and model year 2020-2022 GENERAL XP 4 1000. The RZR models were sold in black, blue, copper, gray, navy, orange, sands metallic, red, tan and white. The GENERAL models were sold in black, blue, burgundy, graphite, gray, titanium, tan and white. The vehicles are made in two or four seat configurations. POLARIS is stamped on the front grille of all the vehicles. POLARIS and RZR or POLARIS and GENERAL are printed on the sides of the respective vehicles. The model name is also printed on the side of the chassis for all model years. The vehicle identification number is located on the vehicle's frame in the left rear wheel well. November 18, 2021 American Honda Recalls Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Crash and Injury Hazards

This recall involves the 2021 Honda Pioneer 700, Pioneer 1000, and Talon 1000 recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) equipped with electric power steering. The vehicles come in various colors including red, blue, green, gray, and yellow. "HONDA" is printed on the front, sides, and the rear of each vehicle. The name of the vehicle is printed on a label located on both sides of the vehicle. The VIN number is stamped in the frame at the left rear below the tilt-up bed/seat on the Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 1000. The VIN number is stamped in the frame on the left side under the left front fender for the Talon 1000. The VIN number range of affected vehicles for the Pioneer 700 is 1HFVE02**M4700031-M4700694, for the Pioneer 1000 is 1HFVE04**M4500061-M4502219, and for the Talon 1000 is 1HFVE05**M4200001-M4201598. This recall involves model year 2013 through 2021 base model Kubota RTV-X1100C Utility Vehicles. Specific models may include an additional letter after the "C," for example, 1100CR. Recalled units have serial numbers ranging from 10001 through 67546. The model number is on the side of the unit and on the data plate also on the side of the unit. October 21, 2021 KTM North America Recalls Off-Road Motorcycles Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the following model year 2021 and 2022 Husqvarna and GASGAS off-road closed course/competition motorcycles: Husqvarna 2022 TE 150i, 2022 TE 250i, 2022 TE 300i, 2022 FE 350, 2022 FE 501; and GASGAS 2021 EC 300 and 2022 EC 250. The model number sticker for Husqvarna motorcycles is located on its side panels; on GASGAS motorcycles, the sticker is located on the side of the rear fender. The Husqvarna motorcycles are white, blue and yellow with the blue Husqvarna logo on both sides of the shrouds. The GASGAS motorcycles are red with a white GASGAS logo on both sides of the shrouds. Model year 2021 motorcycles will have the letter M in the 10th position of the vehicle identification number (VIN). The VIN number is located on the right side of the steering head. September 29, 2021 Luyuan Recalls Youth All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) Due to Crash Hazard and Violation of Federal ATV Safety Standard

The recall involves Luyuan's youth ATVs sold from August 2018 through August 2020 and intended for use by children ages 6 years and older, as demonstrated by the product dimensions and advertising. The ATVs were also marketed on Amazon.com to children as young as 12 months of age and on Walmart.com to children age 5 years. The model numbers include LY-ATV-40A, LY-ATV-40D, LY-ATV-40E and LY-ATV-40I. The model number is printed on the hang tag and the brand name is printed on a sticker on the plastic body. The ATVs may have a label on the front frame, stating: "This ATV is subject to LUYUAN INC's ACTION PLAN approved by U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on August 7, 2009" or a label on the motor stating: "IMPORTED BY LUYUAN, INC."
