January 12, 2017 Yamaha Recalls Snowmobiles Due to Crash and Fire Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Yamaha model year 2016 SR10 "SRViper" snowmobiles that are equipped with a dealer-installed Mountain Performance Inc. (MPI) Turbo Kit sold by Yamaha. The recalled snowmobiles were sold in several colors. The model name is printed on the left and right side of the front cowling. The vehicle identification number (VIN) and the model number are stamped on the frame (tunnel) near the right foot-well. The letter G in the 10th position of the VIN number indicates that the unit was made in the 2016 model year. January 12, 2017 BRP Recalls Side-by-Side Off-Road Vehicles Due to Injury Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves model year 2016 Can-Am Defender, Defender DPS, and Defender XT model side-by-side off-road vehicles. The vehicles were sold in various colors and have four tires, two seats and a cargo box on the back. "Can-am" is printed on the side of the cargo box and the model name is printed on the side of the front of the vehicle beside the headlight. January 11, 2017 Arctic Cat Recalls Snowmobiles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

The recall involves model year 2007, 2008, and 2009 Arctic Cat snowmobiles, including F models, Jaguar and Jaguar Z1 1100 models, Bearcat Z1 XT models, T500 and T570 models, TZ1 and TZ1 Turbo models, and Z1 1100 and Z1 1100 Turbo models. These snowmobiles were produced in a variety of color combinations. "Arctic Cat" is printed on the sides of the vehicle and on the back snow-flap area. The model name is on the side of the vehicle. January 11, 2017 Textron Specialized Vehicles Recalls Bad Boy Off-Road Utility Vehicles Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death; One Death and One Injury Reported

This recall involves Bad Boy XTO and Bone Collector XTO model off-road utility vehicles. The recalled four-wheeled vehicles are battery-powered and have a bench seat for a driver and one passenger and a two-passenger, rear-facing bench seat on the back. The vehicles were sold in camouflage, black, white, forest green, flame red, and patriot blue and the brand and model name are printed on the side and front panels. The recalled vehicles have serial numbers ranging from 8000020 through 8004934. The serial number is located on the steering column connected to the wheel. Read more.

December 28, 2016 Suzuki Recalls KingQuad ATVs Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves model year 2016 and 2017 LT-A750X and LT-A750XP KingQuad ATVs. "Suzuki KingQuad" and "4x4 750AXi" are on decals on the sides. The model number is printed on a hang tag on the ATV and on the owner's manual. The XP model has power steering. They were sold in green, red, camouflage and black colors. Read more.

November 15, 2016 Gates Recalls ATV and UTV Clutches Due to Laceration and Injury Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves two models of the G-Force CVT clutches that are aftermarket metallic, cylinder-shaped replacement clutch assemblies for use in all-terrain-vehicles and utility task vehicles. The part number, "G-FORCE" and the Gates logo are printed on the round top of the clutch. The UPC, part number and internal product number are printed on the packaging. September 1, 2016 Polaris Recalls RZR XP Turbo Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard; Severe Burn Injuries; Includes Previously Recalled RZR Turbo ROVs

This recall involves all model year 2016 Polaris RZR XP Turbo and RZR XP 4 Turbo recreational off-highway vehicles. The ROVs were sold in blue, gray, orange and red and have two or four seats and a rear box. "RZR" is printed on the rear box or on the right and left rear fenders and "Turbo" on the hood or on the right and left front fenders. "Polaris" is stamped onto the front grill. May 12, 2016 Kubota Recalls Utility Vehicles Due to Injury and Collision Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves model year 2013, 2014 and 2015 Kubota RTV400 and RTV500 series gas-powered utility vehicles. Recalled utility vehicles come in orange and camouflage and have serial numbers ranging from 10001 to 22042 for the RTV400 and 25083 to 40991 for the RTV500. May 10, 2016 American Honda Recalls Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Risk of Injury (Recall Alert)

This recall involves model year 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 side-by-side recreational off-highway vehicles. The ROVs are motorized off-road vehicles with a steering wheel, a gas pedal, a brake pedal, bucket or bench seats, seat belts and an occupant protection structure. The recalled ROVs were sold in three-seat and five-seat models in red, silver or camouflage color. "HONDA" is printed on the front grill and rear tail gate. "Pioneer 1000" is printed on the sides of the vehicle near the tailgate. The model and serial numbers are on a certification label located at the top rear of the left front wheel well.
