July 19, 2012 Club Car Recalls Golf and Transport Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled vehicles are various sizes, models and colors of 2012 gas-powered golf and transport vehicles used for short-distance transportation. The vehicles can be identified by model and serial number. The serial number is above and to the right of the accelerator pedal. Model names do not appear on the vehicles, but models can be identified by two-letter prefixes on the serial number. Club Car is printed on the front of each vehicle. April 26, 2012 Kawasaki USA Recalls Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Injury, Death Hazard

The recalled vehicles are model year 2012 Kawasaki four-wheel recreational off-highway vehicles with side-by-side seating for two people, automobile style controls, with model types Teryx 750 FI 4x4, Teryx 750 FI 4x4 LE, Teryx 750 FI 750 4x4 LE SGE and Teryx 750 FI 4x4 Sport. April 12, 2012 Additional Fire Incidents Prompts Baja Motorsports to Reannounce Dirt Bike Recall

This recall involves all model DR50 and DR70 Baja dirt bikes with vehicle identification number (VIN) beginning with "L98," the letter "B" as the 10th character of the VIN and having a yellow dot or line marked on or near the VIN. The model number and VIN are located on the product data plate, which is located on the side of the "goose neck" - where the handle bars meet the body of the bike. Read more.

February 21, 2012 Pro Armor Recalls Latches for Utility Vehicle Doors Due to Ejection and Laceration Hazards

The Pro Armor Slam Latches are black metal door latches sold for use in Polaris RZR, Can-Am Commander and Kawasaki Teryx utility vehicles. The latches were sold separately or purchased as an add-on installed on a door that was bought separately. Read more.


February 21, 2012 American Honda Recalls ATVs due to Crash Hazard

The recalled vehicles are two-wheel drive 2012 Honda FourTrax Rancher ATV models TRX420TE and TRX420TM. The ATVs are red or green and have the word "Honda" on both sides of the fuel tank and the word "Rancher" on the front cowl below the handlebars and on the left rear fender. January 26, 2012 Columbia ParCar Recalls for Repair Golf, Service, Utility Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard

The recalled items are 2009, 2010 and 2011 Columbia ParCar golf carts, low-speed service and utility vehicles. They are 36- or 48-volt electric vehicles manufactured from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011. Vehicles can be identified by their Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) located either on the passenger’s side left kick panel, in the driver’s side storage compartment or on the steering wheel beneath the center cap. The recall involves 2009 through 2012 KYMCO utility task vehicles (UTVs). The vehicles are gasoline-powered, off-road vehicles with two side-by-side seats, a cargo bed and a steering wheel. The vehicles come in red, blue, black, gray, orange, silver and green and have the model and brand name “KYMCO” on both sides of the rear fender area and the front of the hood.
