This recall involves Pulse Safe Start Transform electric scooters for children with manufacturing date codes between September 10, 2016 and October 11, 2016. The date code is printed on a label located under the platform in format XX(month)/XX(day)/2016 - 066QY. The scooters were sold in blue and have two wheels in front and one in the rear. Read more.


December 29, 2016 GLOPO Recalls Children's Scooters Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Joyrider three-wheeled scooters for children. They have a low, foot-gripping deck, multicolored handgrips, and an adjustable metal T-bar handle. The scooters are made of metal and plastic and come in a variety of colors. The tracking label sticker can be found on the back of the scooter, with batch PO number of G20140423. Recalled model numbers are: GT5048R, GT5110R, GT5121R, GT5124R, GT5125R, GT5122R, GT5117R, GT5123R. Model numbers can be found on the bottom of the scooter base, on the receipt and on the packaging. December 13, 2016 World Trading Recalls Orbit Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Due to Fire Hazard; Sold by Evine

This recall involves Orbit brand self-balancing scooters/hoverboards. The hoverboards have two wheels at either end of a platform and are powered by lithium ion battery packs. Orbit brand hoverboards were sold in the following six colors: black, blue, gold, green, red and white. "Orbit" is printed on a black sticker on the underside of the hoverboard. Read more.


October 3, 2016 Glion Electric Scooters Recalled by Probity Cell Due to Fall Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the Glion SmartScooter Model 100. The foldable electric scooters are aluminum and come in black or white. The scooters are powered by lithium-ion batteries and have a kickstand, two tires and a USB phone charger. "GLION" is printed on the standing board of the scooter. The scooters measure about 38 inches long and 5.5 inches wide and 45 inches tall when unfolded. Read more.


July 6, 2016 Razor Recalls Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves non-UL certified Hovertrax brand self-balancing scooters, commonly referred to as hoverboards. Hovertrax hoverboards have two wheels at either end of articulated dual platforms and are powered by lithium-ion battery packs. The recalled Hovertrax brand hoverboards have serial numbers beginning with 55X120-01, 55X120-02, 55X110-01, 55X110-02 and 55X230-01. December 4, 2013 K2 Sports Recalls Kickboards/Scooters Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves K2 Revo Kick kickboards/scooters with item code I10700100. Revo Kick and the item code are printed on a sticker on the underside of the deck. The kickboard/scooter is made of aluminum, has three wheels, a wooden deck and a vertical handle with a round grip. The kickboards/scooters measure about 32 inches long and 40 inches high. November 21, 2013 ElliptiGO Recalls Elliptical Cycles Due to Fall Hazard

The ElliptiGO 3C, 8C and 11R models are outdoor elliptical cycles used by adults for exercise. It is a scooter-like device that combines an elliptical trainer with a bicycle. The ElliptiGO cycles have an aluminum frame, drive arms, two 20" spoked-wheels, an internally geared hub, front and rear brakes and adjustable-height steering column. All cycles have the word "ElliptiGO" along the outside of the frame. The 3C and 8C model cycles have a "C-Series" decal towards the rear of the frame and aluminum drive arms. The recalled 11R cycles are matte black with white markings and the "11R" decal is found towards the rear of the frame. The serial numbers on all models are located on the frame in front of the back wheel near where the kickstand attaches to the frame. Serial number ranges for the recalled 3C and 8C models are from 11-010-001 through 13-028-102, and for the 11R model from 12-003-069 through 12-020-035. Read more.

June 14, 2005 Fisher-Price Recall of Scooters and Mini Bikes

The recalled Lightning PAC Scooters and MX3 Mini Bikes are battery-powered ride-on toys designed for children ages six and older. The product names are located on the side of the scooter or mini bike. The recalled scooter’s model number is 73530. The recalled mini bike’s model number is 73535. The model numbers are located inside the battery compartment. The recalled scooters or mini bikes have a warning label located near the inflation valves. If the warning label reads “Never inflate above 30 psi,” the scooter or mini bike is not subject to this recall.
