Recalls: Scuba Diving

This recall involves the Monorail Weight Pocket, which is sold as an accessory designed to attach to a Scuba Diving BCD. The weight pocket has a black base and a fabric pouch sold in multiple colors with a gray plastic D-ring handle attached to it. The weight pocket was sold in two sizes, standard and mini, and eight colors, including black, blue, green, orange, pink, teal, white and yellow. The standard size is about 10.75 inches long by 3.75 inches wide by 2 inches deep and weighs about 9.6 ounces. The mini size is about 7.5 inches long by 3.75 wide by 2 inches deep and weighs about 7.52 ounces. Both sizes have a color cover and "Monorail Weight System" printed on the bottom of the pocket. This recall involves Poseidon M28A Dive Computers used for diving. They calculate continuously and present needed data for divers. The M28A works stand alone or in combination with the Poseidon SE7EN Rebreather. Only dive computers with a serial number starting with "M28A-" are included in this recall. The serial number and two metallic wet-switches are located on the back side of the recalled dive computers. Read more.

This recall involves SCUBA Diving Buoyancy Compensating Devices (BCD). The user wears the jacket style BCD during a dive. The recalled BCDs look like a vest with an attachment point on the back for the tank, an upper airway assembly that consists of a corrugated rubber hose and an inflation mechanism that can be attached to a SCUBA regulator, and integrated weight pouches on either side that can be loaded with weights that can be dumped in an emergency. The recalled devices include the following models: Oceanic OceanPro, Oceanic Excursion, and Oceanic Hera with serial numbers: 608262 through 695909, 1170357 through 1180342, 1200001 through 1200070 and 20031001 through 22082698. Only these models in any of these serial number ranges and QLR4 Pocket Handles that DO NOT contain a date code on the underside are included in the recall. This recall involves 1st stage scuba regulators with model number NX700. The model number is inscribed on one side of the metal regulator and XDEEP is on the other. Read more.

This recall involves BLU3's Nomad battery-powered tankless diving systems. The BLU3 logo and Nomad appear in writing on the top handle of the dive system. Consumers can identify whether their Nomad is included in the recall by contacting BLU3 and providing the serial number for their Nomad. The serial number can be found in the compartment behind the battery door. Serial numbers ending with the last four digits between 0000 to 2700 are included in the recall. Read more.

This recall involves Apeks Exotec SCUBA Diving Buoyancy Compensator Devices (BCDs). The Exotec is a back flotation-style BCD used to control a SCUBA diver's buoyancy underwater. The Apeks brand and Exotec model name are embroidered on the back panel and side pockets of the BCD and the metal components are gray or orange. Only model numbers BT1380108ML, BT1380108XLXXL, BT1380110ML and BT1380110XLXXL are included in the recall. The model number is printed on the label tucked behind the bladder between the tank attachment belt and the lower dump valve. Read more.

This recall involves Scuba Buoyancy Compensator Devices (BCDs) with LP inflator hoses. The LP inflator hoses attach to the regulator first stage of the BCD. The following Cressi base models, as identified on the label stitched to the pocket on the BCDs, are included in the recall: Patrol (IC74160), Quartz (JIC74190), Start (IC72170), Start Pro (IC72190), Aquaride (IC74080), Travel Light (IC7406), Commander Evolution (IC771000), and Scorpion (IC77000). Only inflator hoses with serial numbers 007/22, 019/22 or 035/22 stamped into the metal fitting that attaches to the BCDs are included in the recall. Read more.

This recall involves Aqualung i330R SCUBA Diving Computers. The wrist device is black and has a bright color display and two-button interface. "AQUA LUNG" is printed on the front and back of each device. The model number is printed on the back of the device. The serial number is printed on a label located on the back of the device. Both the model and serial numbers can also be found by scrolling through the diving computer. This recall involves Oceanic Adult Dry Top Snorkels. The recalled snorkels are white and gray with a blue plastic housing around an oval shaped, clear rubber bottom purge valve and a blue dry splash guard located at the top of the snorkel. The snorkel measures about 16.5 inches tall. This recall involves Ocean Reef's Neptune Space Integrated Diving Masks. The full face scuba masks come in a variety of colors and sizes. The masks have a bellows style face seal, molded from silicone rubber, uses a "spring profile" and sealing surface. The masks serial numbers are engraved on the mask housing.
