February 23, 2023 Polaris Recalls Timbersled Snow Bike Conversion Kits Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Model Year 2023 Timbersled ARO and RIOT Pro snow bike conversion kits. The kits are used to convert off road motorcycles or dirt bikes to snow bikes. It includes a front ski and rear track system that replaces the tires on the bike. They were sold in black, blue, orange, red and white colors. Timbersled and the model name are printed on both sides of the unit. The model number and VIN (also referred to as the serial number) are located on a decal on the inside of the right-hand frame rail. Read more.

November 17, 2022 Polaris Industries Recalls MATRYX, AXYS and Pro-Ride Snowmobiles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Polaris Model Years 2021 through 2023 MATRYX, model years 2015 through 2022 AXYS, and certain 2013 and 2014 Pro-Ride snowmobiles. The recalled snowmobiles were sold in black and in custom color combinations. Polaris and the model names are printed on the chassis on both sides of the snowmobiles. This recall involves certain VINs of Polaris Model Year 2022 PATRIOT BOOST RMK KHAOS and Model Year 2022 PATRIOT BOOST PRO RMK. The recalled snowmobiles were sold in the following color combinations: black, black/blue, neon/orange, and red/white. July 6, 2018 Camso Recalls Dirt to Snow Bike Conversion Kits Due to Crash and Impact Hazards

This recall involves model year 2018 Camso DTS 129 and Yeti Snow MX kits that are used to convert off road motorcycles or dirt bikes to track and ski vehicles. The DTS 129 kits have a serial number starting with 9025ICEXXXX located on the conversion system frame. The Yeti Snow MX kits have a serial number starting with YE3XXXX located under the system. June 6, 2017 Arctic Cat Recalls Snowmobiles Due to Impact Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves all model year 2017 Arctic Cat 9000 Turbo snowmobiles and model year 2018 Arctic Cat 6000, 7000, 8000, and 9000 snowmobiles. The vehicle identification number (VIN) is stamped on the right side of the snowmobile tunnel near the right foot rest. The last six digits of the VIN are needed to identify recalled snowmobiles. The recalled snowmobiles were produced in a variety of color combinations. "Arctic Cat" is printed on the sides of the vehicle and on the back snow-flap area.
