March 4, 2008 Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. Recalls Off-Road Motorcycles Due to Frame Failure

This recall involves 2008 Kawasaki KLX140A8F/B8F off-highway motorcycles. They are designed for the beginner as well as the more advanced rider. They are green in color and have “Kawasaki” identification on the sides of the fuel tank and KLX140 underneath the seat on both sides. Read more.


February 22, 2008 Family Dollar Recalls Magnetic Dart Boards; Ingested Magnets Pose Aspiration and Intestinal Hazards

The magnetic dart board is about 15 inches wide with a black, white, green, and red bulls eye checkered design and was sold with six 4-inch long magnetic darts. The darts magnetically adhere to the dart board when thrown. “Made in China” is embossed on the back of the board. Read more.


February 14, 2008 Polaris Industries Expands Recall of ATVs Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves select 2005 through 2006 model Polaris Sportsman and Scrambler 500 ATVs. The model and serial numbers are printed on a decal attached to the front side of the radiator (Sportsman) or the top of the front cab cover (Scrambler 500). Serial numbers are permanently stamped into the left frame rail behind the left front wheel. The recalled models are listed on the chart below. Read more.


February 7, 2008 Trek Recalls Girls Bicycles Due To Frame Failure

This recall involves Trek girls’ bicycles model MT220 and model years 2005 (light metallic blue), 2006 (metallic silver and metallic purple or pink and pearl white), and 2007 (pink and white pearl or metallic purple). The model name is printed on the frame of the bicycle. Model year 2008 bicycles re not included in this recall. Read more.


January 9, 2008 ATVs Recalled By American Honda Motor Co. Due to Loss of Speed Control

This recall involves Model Year 2007 Honda TRX 500 ATVs, also known as the Honda Foreman and Foreman Rubicon. The adult-size ATVs are designed for use by riders age 16 and older. The 2007 model year ATVs are available in red, black, blue, olive, and camouflage. The Honda name and wing logo are printed on the fuel tank and the model name is printed on the side panel just below the seat. Read more.

January 8, 2008 Pacific Cycle Recalls Children's Trailer Bicycles; Can Detach from Adult Bicycle and Injure Children

The "Pathfinder,” “Run About,” and “Alley Cat” are single-wheeled, children’s bicycles that connect to an adult’s bicycle by a coupler. The recall includes model numbers: 12-PF250, 13-SC250, 13-SC350 and M5101. The model number is located on the lower seat tube of the frame. December 18, 2007 Full Body Safety Harnesses Recalled by Gorilla Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves the Pullover Style Full Body Safety Harnesses model SP40300 that were included as an accessory with Gorilla 2007 ladder stands. The harnesses bear batch code numbers 020507, 030507 and 040507. The model and batch code number is printed on the label affixed to the harness. Read more.
