July 17, 2007 Injuries Prompt Recall of Combination Tire Inflator and Hand Pumps by Genuine Innovations

This recall involves the Genuine Innovations Second Wind MTB model with part numbers 2525, 2525-O or 3519 and the Wrench Force Two Shot model with part numbers 84995 or 80383 combination tire inflator and hand pumps. These devices consist of a hand pump and CO2 cartridge inflator. The part number can only be found on the packaging. Read more.


July 3, 2007 Hammock Stands Recalled by The Algoma Net Co. Due to Fall Hazard

The recall includes Algoma hammock stands model numbers 6250, 6250BH, and 6290W88B. They were sold with a cotton rope hammock with wood spreader bars and attached chains. The frame is made of steel and has five separate tubular pieces, including two foot brackets. The model number is located at the top of the instruction sheet that was provided with the hammock stand. June 6, 2007 Cannondale Recalls Bicycles With Carbon Crankset Due to Fall Hazard

Cranksets are the gears at the front of the bicycle chain with pedals attached to the outer ends. The crankset spins on a bearing and axle assembly called a bottom bracket. May 31, 2007 Kayak Paddle Floats Recalled by NRS Due to Drowning Hazard

The NRS Sea Kayak Paddle Float is an inflatable device that is attached to one side of the paddle to help the kayaker re-enter the kayak in open water. The paddle float is yellow and black and measures 15" wide by 28" long, before inflation. The NRS logo is on one side. May 30, 2007 K2 Sports Recalls Marker M1 Demo Ski Bindings Due to Unexpected Release, Fall Hazard

This recall involves Marker M1 Demo ski bindings, which fit only on certain K2 skis with the K2/Marker Mod integrated mounting system. These bindings will not mount on other skis. Only certain model year 2006 Polaris Hawkeye ATVs produced prior to January 23, 2006 are included in this recall. Consumers should contact Polaris to identify whether their model is part of the recall. All serial number ranges of the Hawkeye 2x4 model number A06LB27AA and the Hawkeye 4x4 model number A06LD27AA/AB/AC are included.
