Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: Fred Bear F-Series and Outfitter Compound Crossbows Units: About 2,000 Manufacturer: Bear Archery, of Gainesville, Fla. Hazard: The triggers on these crossbows could fire when the safety mechanism is moved from "safe" to "fire" position without pulling the trigger. Bystanders could be unintentionally hit by an arrow fired by these bows. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The recall involves five models of Compound Crossbows: Outfitter XB340 Compound Crossbow with model number AFB8959340 Fred Bear F340 Compound Crossbow with model number AFB8949350 Fred Bear F325 Compound Crossbow with model number AFB8949325 Fred Bear F300+ Compound Crossbow with model number AFB8949301 Fred Bear F300 Compound Crossbow model number AFB8949300. The model name is written on the outside of the bow's bottom limb. The model number is written on the product manual. Sold at: Hunting and sporting goods stores nationwide and by Web retailers and in catalogs from July 2004 through January 2006 for between $300 and $800. July 12, 2006 M2Racer LLC Recalls Bicycle Headsets for Fall Hazard

The headset is the component on a bicycle which provides a interface that can rotate between the bicycle fork and the bicycle frame itself. The Conventional Headset is constructed of an anodized black alloy housing, stainless steel, and polymers. The Integrated Lite Headset is constructed of a black polymer housing and light weight alloys. The Integrated Headset weighs 29 grams; the Conventional Headset weighs 39 grams. Read more.


July 7, 2006 Felt Bicycles Announce Recall to Repair Mountain Bicycles for Brake Failure

This recall involves all model year 2005 and 2006 Kinesis made RXC bicycles. The frames on these bicycles are made with carbon fiber rear seat stays and are equipped with V-style brakes, and not equipped with disk brakes from the factory. Frames affected by this recall were shipped to dealers between October 2004 and April 2006. Read more.


July 3, 2006 Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. Recalls All-Terrain Vehicles for Fire Hazard

Bombardier brand Model Year 2006 Outlander 650 and 800 ATVs and Some Can-Am brand Model Year 2007 Outlander 650 ATVs. Serial numbers are located on the front of the ATV on the identification decal. The ATVs were available in yellow, green, red, and camouflage. Read more.




June 21, 2006 American Suzuki Motor Corp. Recalls All-Terrain Vehicles for Crash Hazard

Only Suzuki 2006 model year LTR450K6 model Quad Racer ATVs with vehicle identification numbers ending with 00089 through 11626 are included in this recall. The vehicle identification number is located on the lower left side of the ATV frame. QuadRacer, printed in white letters, and R450 and Suzuki are written on the side of the ATV. These ATVs were sold in yellow or white. Read more.


June 13, 2006 Foldable Steel Hammock Stand Sold at Lowe's Stores Recalled
