June 3, 2005 MSA Recall of Climbing Wall Descenders

Two types of descenders, which are used in recreational wall climbing, are included in this recall: Redpoint and Auto-Belay descenders. The descenders consist of a round metal housing into which a retractable red strap (Redpoint) or steel cable (Auto-Belay) is coiled. The front of each descender's round metal housing includes a red label (Redpoint) or green label (Auto-Belay) with the name of the product. A label on the back of the product's housing includes the descender's date of manufacture, last service date, and product number. Redpoint Descenders are identified with product numbers 10024873, 10027646 or 10027798. Auto-Belay Descenders are identified with the product number 10021806. Redpoint Descenders manufactured or serviced from August 27, 2004 through April 6, 2005 are included in the recall. May 31, 2005 ITECH Recall of Hockey Goalie Masks and Replacement Wires

The recalled hockey goalie masks and replacement wires are non-certified models with a cat-eye design and have the word "ITECH" printed on the sides and front of the mask. The ITECH Profile 2100, 1100 and 8.0 goalie masks came in black or white. A label identifying the model and size (medium or large) is affixed to the rear crown of the helmet. In addition, the back of the helmet has a large red triangular warning label. The ITECH RP607 and RP609 replacement wires are black, white and chrome and include a unique side attachment design – they are attached to the helmet/mask by four screws and posts without the use of any additional clips. The recall includes one-seater models 1136-3020, 1136-3021, 1136-3420, 1136-3421, 1205-3020 and two-seater models 2336-3021, 2336-3022, 2336-5019, 2575-3020, 2575-3420, 2605-3416, 2605-3515, 2606-3016, 2606-3017, 2606-3416, 2606-3417, 2636-3016, 2636-3017, 2906-3015, 2906-3016, 2906-3017, 2906-4015, 2906-4016, 2906-4017, 2909-3015, 2909-3415, 2909-4015, 2910-3015, 2910-3016, 2910-3415, 2910-4015, 2910-4016, 2910-4415, 2911-4015, 2911-4016, 2946-3015, and 2946-3016. The model number and serial number is located under the seat (on the driver's side if two-seater). The Fun-Karts were produced in several colors to include red, black, blue, purple and green. May 19, 2005 Polaris Industries Recall of Select Model Year 2004 and 2005 Snowmobiles

May 17, 2005 Michaels of Oregon Recall of Handgun Holsters

The recall includes Kydex Belt and Tactical Holsters with thumb break fits for Glock model handguns. The holsters are rigid and are made of black Kydex and come with tension screws for a proper fit. The words, “Uncle Mike’s by Michaels of Oregon” are printed on the back of the holster. The recall involves sizes 12, 21, and 25, which is printed on the inside of the holster between the two screws securing the holster to the belt slide. Read more.

May 12, 2005 Bush Hog, LLC Recall of Utility Vehicles

The recall includes the Bush Hog Model TH 440 Off-Road Utility Vehicle. The "Bush Hog" name appears on the cargo bed tail gate and on each side of the cargo bed. The Model "TH440" appears each side of the hood. The hood color is red or green or Mossy Oak. Read more.

May 5, 2005 Quality Bicycle Products Recall of Bicycle Handlebar Stems

The recall involves all Dimension-brand road and mountain threadless bicycle stems with a 130 degree rise. The stems are black or silver and have the word "Dimension" painted on the extension. Only models SM2330 to SM2333, SM4555 to SM4558, SM4567, and SM4570 to SM4573 are included in this recall. The model numbers are printed on the original packaging. These handlebar stems all have a 130-degree "high rise" but vary in extension length. Read more.

May 3, 2005 Polaris Industries Recall of Select Model Year 2004.5 and 2005 Sportsman and 2005 Model Year Scrambler ATVs

Only select model year Polaris ATVs are part of this recall. The Sportsman ATV model and serial number identification decal is located on the right front side of the front radiator covering. The Scrambler 500 ATV model and serial number identification decal is located on top of the front cab cover. The VIN, or serial number is permanently stamped into the left frame rail behind the left front wheel of all Polaris ATVs. Read more.

April 29, 2005 American Suzuki Motor Corp. Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles

The recall includes Suzuki 2005 model year Eiger and Vinson ATVs. Only Model LT-A400FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57104462 through 57105157, Model LT-F400FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57103131 through 57103730, and Model LT-A500FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57105616 through 57106276 are included in the recall. (Note: not all VINs within the above ranges are affected.) The VIN is stamped on the ATV frame and can be seen by looking between the left rear tire and fender. Read more.
