The recalled vehicles are various sizes, models and colors of model year 2012 gas and electric powered utility and transport vehicles used for short-distance transportation. March 15, 2012 Kawasaki USA Recalls Utility Vehicles due to Fire Hazard

The vehicles are model year 2012 Kawasaki four-wheeled, off-highway utility vehicles with side-by-side seating for two people and automobile style controls. Each model has a bench seat, a rollover protection structure and a cargo bed. The vehicles are available in the colors green, red, black and camouflage. February 21, 2012 Pro Armor Recalls Latches for Utility Vehicle Doors Due to Ejection and Laceration Hazards

The Pro Armor Slam Latches are black metal door latches sold for use in Polaris RZR, Can-Am Commander and Kawasaki Teryx utility vehicles. The latches were sold separately or purchased as an add-on installed on a door that was bought separately. Read more.


January 26, 2012 Columbia ParCar Recalls for Repair Golf, Service, Utility Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard

The recalled items are 2009, 2010 and 2011 Columbia ParCar golf carts, low-speed service and utility vehicles. They are 36- or 48-volt electric vehicles manufactured from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011. Vehicles can be identified by their Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) located either on the passenger’s side left kick panel, in the driver’s side storage compartment or on the steering wheel beneath the center cap. The recall involves 2009 through 2012 KYMCO utility task vehicles (UTVs). The vehicles are gasoline-powered, off-road vehicles with two side-by-side seats, a cargo bed and a steering wheel. The vehicles come in red, blue, black, gray, orange, silver and green and have the model and brand name “KYMCO” on both sides of the rear fender area and the front of the hood.
