October 14, 2016 Salewa North America Recalls Khion Ski Boots Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves three models of the Dynafit Khion Ski Boots: (1) Khion Boot Men, (2) Khion Boot Women, and (3) Khion Carbon Boot. The Khion Boot Men is a dark gray boot with gray, black boot buckles and model number 08-0000061502. The Khion Boot Women is a red boot with black, red boot buckles and model number 08-0000061503. The Khion Carbon Boot is a white boot with green, white, black boot buckles and model number 08-0000061504. Additionally, all of the recalled ski boots have the word "KHION" printed across the toe of the boot. The model number is printed on a UPC sticker affixed to the inside of the tongue of the ski boot liner. Read more.


May 19, 2015 Rocky Brands Recalls Rocky Rubber Snake Boots Due to Failure of Snake Guard

The recalled boots are 16-inch tall rubber hunting boots sold under the Rocky brand name. The recalled boots have a camouflage pattern on the outside of the shaft and foot. A white label on the inside of the shaft of has the Rocky logo, product number RKYS153, a date code between 12-14 and 01-15 in the MM-YY format and the words "Men's 16 Silent Hunter Snake Boot, Camo" below the product number and date code. April 17, 2014 Rocky Brands Recalls Georgia Boot Steel-Toed Shoes Due to Compression Hazard

The recalled shoes are six inches tall, brown leather, steel-toed shoes with dark brown padding at the ankles sold under the Georgia Boot brand name. On the outward side, the boots have a tag with the words "Met-Guard" at the stitching and the Georgia Boot logo near the heel. A white label on inside of the tongue of the recalled boots have the Georgia Boot logo, the product number "G9075" on the left side, a date code between 01-12 and 10-13 in the MM-YY format on the right side, and the words "Men's Georgia Metatarsal 6" Brown." This recall involves 45 styles of Red Wing men's steel toe work boots in sizes 11 to 18 and widths ranging from B to H depending on the size and style. The boots have 6, 8, 10 or 11 inch ankle height and were sold in brown, black and maroon-colored leather. July 23, 2013 Girls Boots Recalled By Renaissance Imports Due to Laceration Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Academy Sports + Outdoors

This recall involves Autumn Run brand girls Gemma II style boots with SKU number 0529-02613-1050. The SKU number can be found on a tag which is located inside the shoe, on the inner side of the collar. The brown roper style boots were sold in girls sizes 5 to 11. A paisley-print fabric sash and a leather beaded strap are tied around the boot. Read more.


March 14, 2013 Stuart Weitzman Girls' Cha Cha Boots Recalled by Synclaire Brands Due to Fall Hazard

The Stuart Weitzman brand Cha Cha and Cha Cha 2 boots come in black or white vinyl with quilted nylon shafts and were sold in girls' size 13 through size 5. The boots have zippers with gold-tone SW logo zipper pulls on the inside side of the boots. The model name and size is printed on a white tag inside the top of the boots.

June 30, 2010 Ski Boot Sole Pads with Steel Inserts and All-Terrain Ski Boots configured with them Recalled by Salomon USA Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves the Salomon “Quest Touring Pads” distributed as sole pads only, and Salomon “Quest Pro Pebax” and “Quest Pro” ski boots configured with the recalled sole pads. The sole pads have visible steel inserts intended to make these Quest touring-style sole pads compatible with a specific type of touring-style ski binding, commonly referred to by back-country skiers as a “low-tech binding.” Read more.

The model name is printed on the upper part of the boot. Boots included in this recall have a 5 or 6 digit lot number stamped on the right boot under the removable insole (see photo below). January 29, 2009 L.L. Bean Recalls Ice Cleats Used During Winter Weather Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Stabilicers Lite cleats with model number BNX9. The cleats are worn over footwear for traction in winter walking conditions. The recalled cleats were sold in blue, orange, and pink. Black Stabilicers Lite cleats are not included in this recall. The cleats were sold in sizes small through extra large.
