June 22, 2023 Poseidon Diving Systems Recalls Poseidon M28A Dive Computers Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves Poseidon M28A Dive Computers used for diving. They calculate continuously and present needed data for divers. The M28A works stand alone or in combination with the Poseidon SE7EN Rebreather. Only dive computers with a serial number starting with "M28A-" are included in this recall. The serial number and two metallic wet-switches are located on the back side of the recalled dive computers. Read more.


June 15, 2023 Huish Recalls Oceanic SCUBA Diving Buoyancy Compensating Devices Due to Drowning Hazard

This recall involves SCUBA Diving Buoyancy Compensating Devices (BCD). The user wears the jacket style BCD during a dive. The recalled BCDs look like a vest with an attachment point on the back for the tank, an upper airway assembly that consists of a corrugated rubber hose and an inflation mechanism that can be attached to a SCUBA regulator, and integrated weight pouches on either side that can be loaded with weights that can be dumped in an emergency. The recalled devices include the following models: Oceanic OceanPro, Oceanic Excursion, and Oceanic Hera with serial numbers: 608262 through 695909, 1170357 through 1180342, 1200001 through 1200070 and 20031001 through 22082698. Only these models in any of these serial number ranges and QLR4 Pocket Handles that DO NOT contain a date code on the underside are included in the recall. The brand name Oceanic and the model name are embroidered on the side pockets and a serial number is on the label on the inside of the jacket assembly. Read more.

December 22, 2022 BLU3 Recalls Nomad Battery-Powered Tankless Diving Systems Due to Drowning Hazard for Divers

This recall involves BLU3's Nomad battery-powered tankless diving systems. The BLU3 logo and Nomad appear in writing on the top handle of the dive system. Consumers can identify whether their Nomad is included in the recall by contacting BLU3 and providing the serial number for their Nomad. The serial number can be found in the compartment behind the battery door. Serial numbers ending with the last four digits between 0000 to 2700 are included in the recall. Read more.


October 13, 2022 Cressi-Sub USA Recalls Scuba Diver Buoyancy Compensator Devices Due to Drowning Hazard

This recall involves Scuba Buoyancy Compensator Devices (BCDs) with LP inflator hoses. The LP inflator hoses attach to the regulator first stage of the BCD. The following Cressi base models, as identified on the label stitched to the pocket on the BCDs, are included in the recall: Patrol (IC74160), Quartz (JIC74190), Start (IC72170), Start Pro (IC72190), Aquaride (IC74080), Travel Light (IC7406), Commander Evolution (IC771000), and Scorpion (IC77000). Only inflator hoses with serial numbers 007/22, 019/22 or 035/22 stamped into the metal fitting that attaches to the BCDs are included in the recall. Read more.


April 2, 2019 Ocean Reef Recalls Neptune Space Integrated Diving Masks Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves Ocean Reef's Neptune Space Integrated Diving Masks. The full face scuba masks come in a variety of colors and sizes. The masks have a bellows style face seal, molded from silicone rubber, uses a "spring profile" and sealing surface. The masks serial numbers are engraved on the mask housing. The diving mask is designed to cover the eyes and nose. The mask and strap are made with soft black rubber, with hard rubber around the two glass lenses.
