March 10, 2011 Atico International USA Recalls Holiday Rattle Baby Slippers Due to Choking Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Walgreens

The recalled slippers are decorated with stuffed fabric figures including snowmen, Santa, reindeer, and penguins, and have decorative rattles inside the slippers that sound like bells when shaken. Item number 999526 is printed on the back of the cardboard header card packaging. “Find Your Joy” is printed on the front of the slippers packaging. Read more.

June 30, 2010 Ski Boot Sole Pads with Steel Inserts and All-Terrain Ski Boots configured with them Recalled by Salomon USA Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves the Salomon “Quest Touring Pads” distributed as sole pads only, and Salomon “Quest Pro Pebax” and “Quest Pro” ski boots configured with the recalled sole pads. The sole pads have visible steel inserts intended to make these Quest touring-style sole pads compatible with a specific type of touring-style ski binding, commonly referred to by back-country skiers as a “low-tech binding.” Read more.

September 17, 2009 Clarks Children's Shoes Recalled by C & J Clark America Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves Clarks® children’s shoes sold under the “crawlers” and “hazy daze” style names. The crawlers were sold in infant sizes 2 to 3 1/2; and the hazy daze in sizes 4 to 6 1/2. “Clarks” is printed on the sole underneath the heel and the words “Clarks First Shoes” is printed on a multi-colored label inside the shoe’s heel area. July 21, 2009 Buster Brown Clog Children's Shoes Recalled by Brown Shoe Co. and Pagoda International Footwear Ltd. Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the Buster Brown & Co. clog children’s shoes with model or retail numbers listed below. These shoes are a plastic molded EVA “water” clog and are designed to resemble a car. The shoes are red, brown, blue, yellow, and pink and most shoes bear the words “CARS,” “Transformers Animated,” or “Barbie.” “Buster Brown & Co.™” is printed on the shoe inside at the heel, on a sewn-in tag inside the fleece-lined shoe, and on the original hang tag.
