May 19, 2015 Precision Trading Recalls Espresso Makers Due to Risk of Burns

This recall involves Precision Trading Corp.'s PREMIUM® four-cup Espresso Makers manufactured in September 2014 and November 2014. The recalled units have model number PEM585 and product date code "0914" or "1114" printed on a rating label affixed to the bottom of the espresso maker. The Premium logo is printed on the bottom front of the espresso maker. Espresso makers with "2015" marked on the cap are not included in this recall. Read more.


March 17, 2015 CreaMiser Refrigerated Creamer Dispensers Recalled by WhiteWave Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves CreaMiser refrigerated coffee creamer dispensers for commercial use with model numbers 200, 210 and 400, digital thermometers and certain serial numbers. The plastic dispensers were sold in the following colors: black granite, gray granite and sand. Models 200 and 210 have two creamer dispenser stations and model 400 has four creamer dispenser stations. Model, serial number and "CreaMiser Products Corporation" are printed on a white sticker or metal name plate on the back of the dispensers. February 24, 2015 Kenmore Electric Ranges Recalled by Electrolux Due to Electrical Shock Hazard

This recall involves Sears Kenmore 24-inch wide freestanding electric ranges with model number 790.90152 with serial numbers from NF408 through NF424 and model number 790.90153 with serial numbers from NF408 through NF427. The ranges have smooth cooktops and are white or black with stainless steel accents. The model and serial numbers are located on the bottom right frame of the range inside the storage drawer. December 23, 2014 Keurig Recalls MINI Plus Brewing Systems Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves Keurig® MINI Plus Brewing System with model number K10 (previously identified as model number B31). Recalled brewers have an identification number starting with "31" followed by a range of numbers printed on a white sticker on the bottom of the brewer. They are single-serve, hot beverage brewers and were sold in 13 different colors with silver trim. Colors include black, red, white, cobalt blue, aqua blue, purple, platinum, emerald, yellow, orchid, bayberry, mauve and poinciana. The recalled brewers measure about 11 inches tall, have a "Brew" button, three cup size brewing options (6 oz., 8 oz. and 10 oz.), and a removable drip tray. The water tank is located on top of the unit towards the back. K10 is marked on the packaging. The recalled product is the StoveTop FireStop Microhood. It is a flame activated, dry chemical powder, fire suppression device that mounts over a residential cooktop stove, underneath a microwave oven. The Microhood units are plastic/metal and come in black and white. They are about 14 inches long and 4 inches wide and 3 inches high. The recalled model numbers are 677-1 (black) and 677-2 (white) with a "Replace Before" date of June 2014 thru August 2019. This date is located on the bottom of each unit. Read more.


May 28, 2014 Hamilton Beach Recalls Baby Food Makers Due to Small Parts Hazard

This recall involves bébé brand baby food makers manufactured by Hamilton Beach. The baby food maker is a small food processor. It has a white and gray motor base with an orange control knob, a clear plastic, five-cup food bowl and a gray-colored food bowl lid with a built-in food chute. "Hamilton Beach" and "bébé" are on the front of the motor base. The food maker comes with the following accessories: a chopping and mixing blade, a slicing and shredding disc, a removable motor shaft adapter, a food pusher, a three-cup steaming basket, 10 storage containers and two storage container caddies. February 18, 2014 LEM Products Distribution Expands Recall Including Previously-Repaired 5-Tray Food Dehydrators Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves 5-tray food dehydrators with model number 1009 and serial numbers between 20110506 and 20121008. These food dehydrators were previously recalled and repaired as part of a May 2013 recall. The dehydrators are gray and are made of plastic and metal. The model and serial numbers are located on a label on the back panel. LEM is embossed on the top of the unit, which has a panel with the digital timer, the on/off switch and a temperature control knob. The UPC code 734494910094 is on the bottom of the packaging. Only dehydrators within the serial number range between 20110506 and 20121008 and with a sticker on the back panel stating "Read Manual Before Operating" are included in this recall. Read more.


January 28, 2014 Bodum USA Recalls Coffee Presses Sold Exclusively at Starbucks Due to Laceration and Burn Hazards

This recall involves Bodum® rose gold Chambord locking lid 8-cup glass coffee presses. The coffee press glass carafe, screen and plunger are held in place by a metal frame which is rose gold-colored with a black molded plastic base. Consumers put ground coffee and hot water in the glass carafe and push the plunger and screen down through the water to brew coffee. The coffee presses are 10 inches high by about 4 inches in diameter. The coffee press has a locking lid. Bodum is printed on the glass carafe. Bodum and SKU number 11029732 are printed on a white label on the bottom of the base. Bodum and Made in Portugal are embossed on the bottom of the black plastic base. Read more.


November 21, 2013 Cuisinart Recalls Food Processors Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves nine models of Cuisinart food processors including, MFP-107, MFP-107BC, MFP-107BCWS, MFP-107BK, MFP-107BKWS, MFP-107DCWS, MFP-107MGSLT, MFP-107MR or MFP-107WS. The model number is on the underside of the food processor base. The food processors were sold in white, black, brush chrome, metallic gray, metallic red and silver colors. They have a seven cup plastic work bowl and three push buttons "On," "Pulse" and "Off." Cuisinart is stamped on the front. Read more.
