March 14, 2017 Battery Chargers for XBOX ONE Video Game Controllers Recalled by Performance Designed Products Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves Energizer® XBOX ONE 2X Smart Chargers used to charge XBOX ONE video game controllers. The chargers are black plastic and measure about 3.5 inches long, 5 inches wide and 11 inches tall. "Energizer®" is printed on the charger's label. Item number 048-052-NA is printed on the bottom of the chargers. The chargers hold up to two XBOX controllers. Read more.


February 1, 2017 Barnes & Noble Recalls Power Adapters Sold with NOOK Tablet 7 Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves the black power adapter sold with the NOOK Tablet 7". The adapter bears markings: model number TPA-95A050100UU, manufacture date 201610. The NOOK Tablet 7" model number BNTV450 is located on the back of the NOOK. Read more.


December 20, 2016 Zebra Technologies Recalls Power Supply Units for Thermal Printers Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves power supply units that serve as the power source for models of Zebra brand thermal industrial printers used to make bar codes and other commercial labels. The power supply units were either sold as after-market kits or included with the sale of the following models of Zebra brand printers: G-Series (GK420D/T, GX420D/T, GX430D/T), GT Series (GT800, GT810, GT820, GT830), ZP455, HC100, P1XX Series (P100, P110, P120), and ZXP3. The Zebra logo or FSP North America logo, date code and part number are printed on the power supply. February 18, 2016 Apple Recalls Travel Adapter Kits and Plugs Due to Risk of Electric Shock

This recall involves Apple World Travel Adapter Kits and wall plug adapters. The kits contain three-prong and two-prong AC wall plug adapters that fit different electrical outlets worldwide. The recalled adapters were made for use in Australia/New Zealand/Argentina, Brazil, Continental Europe and Korea and were also sold with Mac computers and iOS devices. The wall plug adapters are white plastic with the following characteristics: Australia/New Zealand/Argentina - flat angled blades Brazil - round thin pins Continental Europe - round thin pins, slightly slanted inward Korea - round thick pins Recalled wall plug adapters have either four or five letters or numbers, or no markings on the inside slot where the wall plug adapter attaches to the main power adapter. This recall involves Rockwood portable power packs with lithium ion batteries and cables. They are used to charge a variety of electronic devices and car batteries and have a recessed LED flashlight. The power packs have a black plastic cover with "Rockwood" printed in white on the top. They measure about 6 inches long, 3 inches wide and 1 inch tall. A yellow and white danger label is on the bottom. Item number 30554 is printed on the packaging. Read more.


January 27, 2016 Charging Stations Recalled by LocknCharge Technologies Due to Electrical Shock Hazard

This recall involves LocknCharge iQ10 charging stations that allow users to charge and store multiple tablet computers. The charging stations are metal cubes about 16 inches tall x about 16 inches wide x about 12 ½ inches long and have two doors on the front. The cube has white sides with black doors and either a black or white top cover. The LocknCharge logo is on the sides of the cube. The charging stations came with a blue basket and a green basket with dividers that hold the devices to be charged. The baskets have a white handle with the LocknCharge logo on each side. The charging stations have two USB charging hubs under the top cover. Recalled charging stations have charging hubs with no batch code or that have batch codes that begin with 14L, 15B or 15C. The batch code is on the bottom of the charging hub under a silver data label. Read more.


November 12, 2015 PNY Recalls Portable Lithium Polymer Battery Packs Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves portable lithium polymer battery packs with model number T10400 that are used to charge USB-enabled smartphones, tablets and other USB-powered devices. The batteries are black or gray hand-held devices, 4 inches x 2.75 inches x 0.75 inches, with two USB outputs and four blue LED lights. PNY is laser-printed along the bottom on the front of the battery. Read more.


October 15, 2015 Horizon Hobby Recalls E-flite Chargers Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves the EFLC1105 E-flite Ultra Micro-4, 4x9W, AC/DC Battery Charger from E-flite. The charger has four independently functioning charge circuits with a LED status display. Each port can charge one 30-150mAh, 1S UM cell, a 1S MCPX cell, or one 120-300mAh 2S pack equipped with a JST-PH, 3-wire connector. The charger measures 5 inches tall by 7 inches wide by 1.5 inches deep. The charger is blue with a gray, black and blue faceplate with white and black type. "Eflite Celectra UMX-$ Battery Charger" is printed across the center of the charger. Read more.


September 24, 2015 Fujitsu America Recalls Battery Packs for Fujitsu Notebook Computers Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Fujitsu lithium ion battery packs sold or provided as replacement battery packs for the following Fujitsu notebook computers: Celsius H720 and LIFEBOOK E752, P701, P702, P770, P771, P772, S752, S762 and T580. The battery packs were also sold separately. The black battery packs measure about 8 inches long, 2 inches wide and about 0.8 inches high. Model number CP556150-1 including all serial numbers, and model number CP556150-2 with serial number range Z120102 through Z120512 are included in this recall. The model and serial numbers are printed on the white battery label. The notebook computer's model number is printed on a label on the bottom of the notebook. Read more.
