March 9, 2023 Vornado Air Recalls Portable SRTH Small Room Tower Heaters Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Vornado SRTH Small Room Tower Heaters with a "JUL22" date code and "TYPE SRTH" printed on the silver rating label located on the underside of the product. The electric space heaters are black and measure about 12.5 inches high by 6 inches wide by 6 inches in diameter and have two heat settings (low and high) and a fan only/no heat setting. "Vornado" with a red "V" behind it is located on the front of the unit. Only units with a date code of "JUL22" are included in this recall. The date code is printed on the silver rating label located on the bottom of the heater as the first five digits of the serial number. Read more.

This recall involves ToolGuards portable water immersion heaters with a built-in thermostat. The recalled water immersion heaters have TOOLGUARDS, Model TG_IMH_01 and Batch Number PO100301 printed on a silver label on the black plastic base of the unit. The portable water immersion heater is used to heat water in foot baths, pools, water buckets, and similar locations. Read more.


February 3, 2021 Enerco Group Recalls DeWALT Cordless Kerosene Heaters Due to Fire and Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazards

This recall involves DeWALT cordless kerosene forced-air heaters model number DXH90CFAK with serial numbers 340902-20001001 through 340902-20004000 and model number DXH90CFAKM with serial numbers 340901-20001001 through 340901-20001500. The heaters have a black tank/base, a yellow body and a gray combustion barrel. "DeWALT" and "90,000 BTU" are printed in yellow on the combustion barrel. The model number and serial number are located on the side panel opposite the controls. Read more.


June 21, 2019 H.E. Industrial Recalls Electric Garage Heaters Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves the Profusion Heat electric garage heaters with model number HA22-48M. The heaters are red, have a grill on the front and a handle on the top. They measure about 13 inches high and 10 inches wide. The label, located on the back of the heater, contains the model number. June 11, 2019 Amazon Recalls AmazonBasics Ceramic Space Heaters Due to Fire and Burn Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves AmazonBasics 1500 watt ceramic space heaters. Two models (ASIN B074MR2HGM and ASIN B074MWRLZM) have oscillating fans and the others (ASIN B074MX8VNR and ASIN B074MWKSLX) do not. The heaters were sold in black and silver colors. The AmazonBasics logo is printed on the front of the units. The following ID numbers are printed on the label on the back of the units: B074MWKSLX, B074MX8VNR, B074MR2HGM, B074MWRLZM. Read more.


August 14, 2015 Trane and American Standard Recall Accessory Heaters Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Trane and American Standard brand accessory heaters manufactured between November 2014 and March 2015 and installed in TAM7 and TAM8 air handlers as a primary or secondary heat source. Models included in the recall are BAYEVBC15BK1BAA (15 KW Electric Heater) with serial numbers 1447B2BP1X through 1512B2CDDX and Model BAYEVCC25BK1BAA (25 KW Electric Heater) with serial numbers 1503B2AP0X through 1513B2BHXX. Due to the electrical risk, only a certified HVAC repair person should verify the model and serial numbers on the nameplate on the inside of the air handler. Read more.


February 4, 2015 Lifesmart Recalls Lifepro Brand Portable Mini Space Heaters Due to Electrical Shock Hazard

This recall is for Lifepro brand portable infrared quartz space heater models LS-IQH-DMICRO and LS-IQH-MICRO. The recalled heaters are about 6 1/2 inches tall x 5 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches deep and made of black plastic. They have a three-prong plug built into the back to allow them to be plugged directly into an electrical outlet. The Lifepro logo is molded into the front bottom of the heaters. Model LS-IQH-DMICRO is a 400-watt heater with digital display on the top. Model LS-IQH-MICRO is a 450-watt heater with no display. May 15, 2013 Optimus Recalls Portable Electric Heaters Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves two models of Optimus Infrared Quartz Radiant heaters with model numbers H-5210, produced in 2011 and H-5211, produced in 2012. The model number and the year of production appear on a label on the back of the heater. The recalled heaters are white and are approximately 12-inches wide by 13-inches tall by 6-inches deep. May 10, 2013 Meijer Recalls Touch Point Baseboard Convection Heaters Due to a Fire Hazard

This recall involves Touch Point brand portable, electric baseboard convection heaters with model BBC-1500 and date code 0611. "Touch Point" can be found on the front of the product and the model and date code can be found on a silver sticker on the back side of the product. The heaters were manufactured in June 2011. The heaters are black and measure approximately 30-inches long by 6-inches deep by 12-inches high. Read more.


June 20, 2012 Big Lots Recalls Portable Ceramic Space Heaters Due to Fire, Electric Shock Hazard

This recall is of two models of 1500 watt Climate Keeper ceramic heaters. Both models have a fan, two dials on top, a wire mesh panel in front and the name “Climate Keeper” and a label on the bottom with the model number and ETL 3130679. Model #FH107A has grey plastic housing. Model #PTC-902T is an oscillating heater with silver-grey plastic housing, a molded handle on top of the heater and a small extra button between the two dials which controls the oscillation.
