Recalls: Fuel Storage

The recalled Manchester Tank & Equipment Company cylinders included in the recall were manufactured January through September 2012. The date of manufacture is printed on the collar by month and year, so "6 * 12" represents June 2012. The name Manchester and the water capacity "WC238#" are also pressed into the collar. These gray 100-pound DOT propane cylinders measure about 41" high and about 15" in diameter. Manchester 100-pound propane cylinders with a green dot on the hand-wheel on the top of the cylinder are not included in the recall.

The snowmobile has the model name printed on the vehicle's side panel. The 2013 models included in the recall are:

The cylinders contain propylene gas and are used for soldering, brazing, cutting and welding. They contain 14.1 oz Map-Pro, 14.1 oz Propylene or 16 oz MAPP (Methyl Acetylene Propadiene Stabilized). The cylinders are approximately 3” in diameter and 11” tall and are either yellow or black in color. They were sold alone and in kits that include a torch and a cylinder. This recall involves odorized propane gas delivered for storage tanks or sold in portable cylinders between February 25, 2010 and September 30, 2010. If the storage tank has been refilled or if the consumer has received additional propane since September 30, 2010, such propane is not included in this recall. Read more.

The 5-gallon gas cans are made from heavy-duty red plastic and carry date codes AIP09202 through AIP09222. The date code is located on the bottom of the can. Not all cans in this date range are affected. Read more.

The recall involves green Enviro-Flo Plus spouts used with 1 and 2 gallon fuel containers. Only spouts with manufacture date codes listed from 04/17/2009 through 04/19/2009 are included in the recall. The manufacture date code is etched into the side of the spout. The spouts were used on fuel containers with item numbers 81005 (1 gallon) and 81010 (2 gallon) printed on the labels. Date codes affected include: Read more.

The recall includes 120 gallon to 1,000 gallon underground propane storage tanks which were previously converted from above-ground to underground storage tanks in the period of January 2005 through April 2008. Read more.

The recalled gas regulators were manufactured from June 2006 through January 2008 and installed on LP-gas supply systems in homes and small commercial buildings (see photo below). The recall involves model R622H LP-gas regulators with type numbers in the table below: Read more.

The recalled LDR series 1200 gas connectors have 3/8 inch fine thread nuts attached. The connectors are used primarily with gas space heaters. The brass nuts are gold colored while the stainless steel tube is silver colored. The following connectors are included in this recall.
