The recalled electric heaters are white-colored with the name “Aloha Breeze” printed on the front. The recall includes model number 05226 with date codes of 07/05, 08/05 and 11/05. The model number and date code are printed on the silver label located on the bottom of the heater. Read more.

August 30, 2007 Berko Electric Toe-Space Heaters Recalled Due to Fire Hazard

The recall involves electric, toe-space heaters typically installed in kitchens and bathrooms at floor level in the recessed space under cabinets. The recall includes Berko Electric catalog numbers TS, TS-1 and TS-1A and Emerson Electric "Chromalox Comfort Heating" and "Environmental Products" catalog number KSH2000. The heater is controlled by a wall thermostat or a thermostat mounted on the front of the heater. The heater has a removable, black metal grille that measures 23 1/2 -inches wide and 3 1/2 -inches tall with five sets of openings, each with seven horizontal louvers. Read more.


August 23, 2007 AC Adapters Sold With Network Hard Drives Recalled by I-O Data Device USA Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves all AC adapters with model number IO-ACADP1510UL. The model number can be found on the AC adapter. The AC adapters were sold with I-O Data® network hard disk drives model number UHDL-160U or UHDL-300U. August 13, 2007 Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative Recalls Junction Boxes for Fire Hazard

This recall involves junction boxes installed between the water heater and load management switch. The metal junction boxes measure about 4 inches by 4 inches and have no markings. The junction box contains wiring connections for water heaters. Read more.


August 3, 2007 Rehvac Manufacturing Recalls Safety Relief Plugs Due to Injury Hazard; Plugs Used on Nitrous Oxide Systems and Heating and Air Conditioning Service Tools

This recall involves the 3000 psi safety plugs used in the cylinders of Nitrous Oxide systems and in HVAC pressure testing tools. The Nitrous Oxide systems are used as gas boosters for motor vehicles. The plugs are nickel-plated. The number "3000" is stamped on the face of the plug. Read more.


August 3, 2007 Serious Facial Injury from Explosion of Aerosol Can Prompts Sherwin-Williams Recall; Firm Warns Consumers Not to Handle Hi-Heat™ Coating Cans

The recall involves Thermo-Tec Hi-Heat aerosol coating used to color and protect Thermo-Tec automotive exhaust wrap. The part number (#12002) is printed above the UPC, and the date code (#B1815) is written on the bottom of the can. The 11-ounce aerosol can is mostly blue with orange and yellow flames and has an aluminum-colored cap. The can states "HI-HEAT COATING 2000°F" in large white letters on the front of the can.
