April 2, 2008 Cabot Recalls Composite Deck Cleaner Due to Inhalation and Fire Hazard

This recall involves the Cabot Composite Deck Cleaner #3502. The deck cleaner is a granular concentrate that, when mixed with water, is used to clean composite surfaces such as decks, railings, steps, fences and siding. It was sold in a 2-pound plastic container. The label on the container reads: “Cabot Composite Cleaner” and has number 3502 at the bottom of the front of the label. Read more.


August 3, 2007 Serious Facial Injury from Explosion of Aerosol Can Prompts Sherwin-Williams Recall; Firm Warns Consumers Not to Handle Hi-Heat™ Coating Cans

The recall involves Thermo-Tec Hi-Heat aerosol coating used to color and protect Thermo-Tec automotive exhaust wrap. The part number (#12002) is printed above the UPC, and the date code (#B1815) is written on the bottom of the can. The 11-ounce aerosol can is mostly blue with orange and yellow flames and has an aluminum-colored cap. The can states "HI-HEAT COATING 2000°F" in large white letters on the front of the can. : The product is marketed under the brand name of Tile Perfect™ Stand'n Seal "Spray-On" Grout Sealer. The date/lot codes are printed on the bottom of the can. All cans with date/lot codes starting with the following six digits are included in the recall: A20985; A30985; A10995; A20995; A30995; A11015; A21015; A31015; A11025; A21445; A31445; A11455; A21455; A31455; A11465; A21465. May 11, 2005 RadioShack Recall of Video Head Cleaner

The recalled non-abrasive "Wet System" Video Head Cleaner was sold in a box labeled "Video Head Cleaner," "RadioShack" and "44-1230" or "44-1213." The box contains a cleaning video cassette and a bottle of cleaning solution. The 4-inch-high white plastic cleaning solution bottle is labeled "Video Head Cleaning Fluid" or "Cleaning Liquid for HEAD CLEANER." Other writing on the bottle includes "Contents: Isopropanol," and the item number "44-1230" or "44-1213." Read more.
