February 27, 2025 Kichler Lighting Recalls Wall Sconces Due to Risk of Electric Shock

This recall involves Ellerbeck Wall Sconces. The wall sconces have articulating jointed arms and can be mounted either as a plug-in fixture, without an electrical box, or without a cord to an electrical box. The sconce arms measure about 21.25 inches long. The wall sconces were sold in black, natural brass, polished nickel and classic pewter finishes with model numbers 43115BK, 43115NBR, 43115PN and 43115CLP. The model number and production date are printed on the product packaging and on a sticker on the inside of the wall plate. Only wall sconces produced on or after June 16, 2023, installed as a plug-in fixture without an electrical box are included in this recall. The production date code is located on a sticker on the underside of the sconce wall plate. Read more.


February 13, 2025 Rechargeable Portable Lamps with Lithium-Ion Batteries Recalled Due to Fire and Burn Hazards; Imported by BlockBlueLight

This recall involves the Multi-Mode Sleep Lamp with model number BBL-MM-LAMP. The lamp has three color modes: Noblue Amber Mode (yellow), Sunset Mixed Mode (orange) and Twilight Red Mode (red). The lamp is white and measures about 6.3 inches by 5.5 inches by 3 inches. Note: Recalled lithium-ion batteries should be disposed of in accordance with any local and state ordinances, following the procedures established by your municipal recycling center for damaged/defective/recalled lithium batteries, because these potentially hazardous batteries must be handled differently than other batteries. Do not throw this recalled battery in the trash. Do not deposit this recalled battery in used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Read more.

This recall involves Tala Muse Portable Lamps with batch codes 01/21, 01/22, 01/23 and 01/24. The lithium battery-powered lamps were sold in brass, green, white, blue, red, black and pink colors and measure about 13 inches by 5 inches by 5.5 inches. September 19, 2024 Jo-Ann Stores Recalls Place & Time Battery-Operated Desk Lamps Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Place & Time® battery-operated desk lamps with a USB cord. The lamp was sold in three colors: green with the model number 4843351B, pink with the model number 4843351A, and cream with the model number 4843351D. The model number can be found on the label on the bottom of the lamp. The lamp is about 12 inches high when the neck is fully extended and about 4 inches wide at the base. Read more.

June 6, 2024 Good Earth Lighting Recalls More than 1.2 Million Rechargeable Integrated Lights to Due to Fire and Burn Hazards; One Death Reported

This recall involves rechargeable lights with model numbers starting with RE1122, RE1145, RE1362 and RE1250. In addition, about 37,800 lights were sold in Canada. The model number is printed on a white sticker on the back of the light. The lights' lithium-ion batteries are intended for use as alternatives to permanently wired fixtures in areas such as closets, cupboards, staircases and any place where there are barriers to installing wired lights. The recalled lights measure about 12 inches long and are sold in packages of one or two units. They were sold in a variety of colors, including white, silver, almond, black and rose gold with a charging cable; and with or without a remote control and/or power adapter. Read more.
