November 20, 2018 HoMedics Recalls Nightlights Due to Choking Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the HoMedics MyBaby Comfort Creatures Giraffe Portable & Bedside Nightlight, model MYB-N100GIR. The affected nightlights have the date code GP230118 or GP290318 and the date code is located on the underside of the product. It can be powered by an AC adaptor or two AA batteries. It is yellow with brown spots and white underbelly. The nightlight is about 3 inches long, 5 inches wide, 7 inches high, and weighs less than 1 pound. Read more.

October 25, 2018 CB2 Recalls Pendant Lights Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

This recall involves CB2's Colby lacquered wood and glass pendant light fixtures. The recalled lights are hanging ceiling lights that measure 17.5 inches long. They have a clear glass shade that measures 12 inches in diameter and a hanging cord that measures 75 inches long. Read more.

October 11, 2018 Cooper Lighting Recalls Solar/Battery Powered Light Fixtures Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves solar-powered, motion-activated outdoor LED light fixtures sold under the All-Pro and Defiant brands. The model number is displayed on the interior of the fixture. The Defiant MST1000LWDF, All-Pro MST800L, and All-Pro MST800LW all have two light sources on top of a housing with a round motion sensor on the bottom of that housing. The All-Pro WPS2040M has a flat housing with the LED light source in the center of the housing and an integrated motion sensor lens and dimmer above the motion sensor. August 30, 2018 PetSmart Recalls Strip Lights for Reptile Cages Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves 20 inch and 30 inch All Living Things reptile strip light fixtures. These light fixtures simulate natural daylight and are attached to the top of the reptile's terrarium. The 20 inch fixture has UPC number 73725773305 and the 30 inch fixture has UPC number 73725773306 printed on the packaging. Read more.

June 26, 2018 Baccus Recalls Stanley Workbench LED Light and Power Stations Due to Shock and Electrocution Hazards (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Stanley LED workbench light and power stations with model number WLB40PS. The recalled units were sold in black/yellow color and measure about 19.75 inches long by 3.75 inches wide and 5 inches tall. They have a 40-chip LED shop light with adjustable angles, four power outlets and an on/off switch mounted on the unit. "Stanley" is printed in yellow by the outlets. April 17, 2018 Jo-Ann Stores Recalls Light Sets Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves Jo-Ann's battery-operated Maker's Holiday 10-count LED string light sets. The light sets consist of ten glass jars with white plastic snow and red plastic beads inside and a cork at the top that holds the LED bulb. The light strings measure about 73.5 inches long and have a tag attached with instructions as to how to replace the batteries. Maker's Holiday is printed on the front of the product packaging and SKU/UPC 1554-7201/603559321277 on the bottom left of the back side of the product packaging. Read more.
