February 25, 2010 Commercial Ice Cube Machines Recalled by Scotsman Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled machines are designed to be installed on top of ice storage bins or ice dispensers, and typically are used in commercial establishments. Model numbers begin with C0322, C0330, C0522, C0530, C0630, C0830, C1030, C1448, C1848, C2148, EH130, EH222, EH330, or EH430, and serial numbers of the recalled machines within these model designations begin with 05, 06, 07, 08 or 09. Model and serial numbers are on the back of all machines and, depending on the model, behind the machine’s front panel either in the lower right corner of the machine or on the left side of the sheet metal wall that separates the larger (equipment) compartment from the smaller (ice-making) compartment. February 18, 2010 GE Infrastructure Sensing Recalls Commercial CO2 and Temperature Sensors Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves GE Telaire Airestat CO2 and temperature sensors with model numbers T8010, T8010-C, T8011, T8011-C, T5010, T5010-C, T5011 and T5011-C and Carrier Single Beam CO2 and temperature sensors with model numbers 33ZCT55CO2 and 33ZCT56CO2. The sensors are sold for commercial use and are wall-mounted. The sensors have a Telaire, Carrier, or no logo in front of the unit. The model number is not found on the sensor. Determining if a sensor is included in this recall requires inspection of the internal components of the unit. Read more.

January 27, 2010 Liebherr Recalls Built-In Refrigerators Due to Injury Hazard; Door Can Detach

This recall involves Liebherr built-in 24-inch wide single door refrigerators with model numbers R1400, RI1400, RB1400, and RBI1400 sold individually or as a component of side-by-side refrigerators. The refrigerators come in stainless steel and various custom finishes and are built into the kitchen cabinetry. “Liebherr” is written on the top interior control panel. The model number can be found on a label located behind the bottom drawer on the left interior side of the single door refrigerator. The side-by-side refrigerators were marketed as model numbers SBS240, SBS24 I0, SBS245, SBS24I5. This model number is not found on the product. Read more.

The recalled product is the Pedrini® Pro Chop™ Professional Multipurpose Chopper with model number 5061050 and UPC 024131114849. The product is a multipurpose chopper and corer for fruits and vegetables. The model number and UPC are located on the chopper’s packaging. Read more.

The recall involves Thermador Brand built-in double ovens with model numbers C272B, C302B, SEC272, SEC302, SECD272 and SECD302 and serial numbers between FD8403 through FD8701. Model and serial numbers are located on the underside of the control panel. Read more.

The utility knife is black or gray and measures about 6 inches long and about 1 ¼ inches wide. The package includes an extra blade. “Tool Bench Utility Knife” is printed on the front of the product’s packaging. “975942,” date code “93” and “UPC 639277759429” are printed on the back of the packaging. This recall involves commercial-style 500-watt blenders with model number HB500BSS. The units are stainless steel and black plastic. “Haier” is printed on the front below the power switch, and the model number is printed on a label on the bottom of the blenders. Read more.

November 24, 2009 Electrolux ICON and Kenmore PRO Gas Ranges Recalled Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazard

The following Electrolux ICON and Kenmore PRO 30" free-standing gas range model and serial numbers are included in this recall. For Electrolux ICON, the model and serial numbers are located on the back of the range. For the Kenmore PRO, the model and serial numbers are located near the base of the range just below the bottom right portion of the oven door and also on the back of the range. Not all serial numbers within these ranges are included in the recall.
