This recall involves “Super Dooper Charms” (item #63403) and “Shoelace Charms” (item #67310) children’s charm craft kits. The craft kits contain components (i.e., charms, beads, wire, clasps) to assemble necklaces, jewelry accessories, or charms that can be hooked on shoelaces, backpacks, or used as zipper pulls. July 3, 2008 Bayside Furnishings Recalls Youth Bed Toy Chests Sold at Costco After the Death of a 22-Month-Old Child

This recall involves two styles of Bayside youth beds: the LaJolla Boat Bed and the Pirates of the Caribbean Twin Trundle Bed. The preassembled toy chests are designed in the shape of a ship or boat’s “bow” and attached to the beds as a footboard. The LaJolla Boat Bed toy chest has a hardwood top and white wood base with a blue stripe. The Pirates Boat Bed toy chest has a hardwood top, wheel shape and brown wood base with decorative carvings. The recall involves two Taggies™ Sleep ‘n Play style infant garments sold in purple or blue and white with style number listed in chart. The infant garments are one piece footed coveralls with snaps down the front. These garments were sold in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-9 months. June 27, 2008 Children's Jackets and Hoodies with Drawstrings Recalled by Coolibar Inc. Due to Strangulation Hazard

The recalled jackets and hoodies have a drawstring through the hood. They were sold in children’s sizes 2 through 12. The jackets were sold in the following colors: tan, stone, bayou blue, crisp blue, white, berry, and citrus. June 26, 2008 Westminster Inc. Recalls Remote-Controlled Helicopter Toys Due to Risk of Fire

The “Thunder Wolf” remote-controlled indoor helicopter is made of foam and plastic, and measures about 7 inches by 3 inches. “TW0996” is printed on the tail of the helicopter and was sold in multiple accent colors. The helicopter comes with a controller and a separate charger. Only helicopters that do not have “Made in China” stamped on the underside of the helicopter are subject to the recall. Read more.
