January 18, 2007 Geometix International LLC Recalls MagneBlocks™ Toys, Ingested Magnets Pose Aspiration and Intestinal Hazards

All types of MagneBlocks™ construction sets are included in this recall. The sets contain six or more plastic building pieces and six or more 1/2-inch diameter steel balls. Some sets include steel rods. The building pieces are various colors and are shaped in 1 1/2-inch cubes and three-, four-, and five-sided pyramids. January 18, 2007 Graco Children’s Products Inc. Recalls to Repair Contempo™ Highchairs Due to Collapse Hazard

The Contempo™ highchairs have an “A” frame design. The highchairs feature six height adjustment positions and three recline positions. The recalled highchairs have model numbers that begin with 3800, 3803, 3804, 3805, 3810 and 3811 followed by a three letter fashion code. Model numbers included in the recall include: 3800COU, 3800DRB, 3800FMT, 3800GGG, 3800GRM, 3800HEM, 3800JEN, 3800LEG, 3800MNS, 3800OWD, 3800SND, 3800TFE, 3800RIT, 3803HRL, 3804CNR, 3805BDA, 3810PEW, 3810PST and 3811PST. The highchairs were manufactured from October 27, 2005 through November 22, 2006. The model number and manufacturing date are printed underneath the snack tray of these highchairs. Read more.


January 18, 2007 Target Recalls Baby Rattles and Ornaments for Choking Hazard

This recall involves plush rattles and frame ornaments sold in the "See. Spot. Save." department of Target stores. The two styles of rattles include a pink bear and a green moose. The plush animals either have a rattle inside or a plastic ring attached. The photo frame ornaments are a pink bear or green moose holding either a square or heart-shaped frame. Read more.


January 18, 2007 U.S. Toy Co. Recalls More Children’s Butterfly Necklaces Due to Lead Poisoning

The recalled necklaces have pendants shaped as butterflies that are painted in various colors. The pendants hang from a black cord. The necklace’s package is blue cardboard with images of flowers and butterflies and the words "Butterfly Necklace" printed on the front and "Item#JA298" on the back. Read more.

The Bright Starts Star Teether Beads (model 8483) has textured soft plastic beads in bright colors and various shapes connected to a flexible plastic ring. The beads on this model are shaped as stars, spirals and ovals. January 10, 2007 Children's Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Recalled by Seena International for Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves children's fleece hooded sweatshirts, sizes 8-12. The sweatshirts were sold in black, brown, blue, red, grey, white and off-white. The words "BKLYN Xpress" and "Brooklyn Xpress" and various graphic designs are embroidered on the sweatshirts. A sewn-in tag has one of the following style numbers: BXFL72B, BXFL73B, BXFL74B, BXFL75B, BXFL77B or BXFL80B. This recall only involves sweatshirts in sizes 8 to 12. Read more.


January 5, 2007 Samara Brothers Recalls Children's Two-Piece Overall Sets, Snaps Contain Lead

This recall involves two styles of children's overall sets. One set is a red plaid denim overall with a white shirt trimmed in red, sold in sizes 12 through 24 months. The other set is a navy blue corduroy overall with a white shirt trimmed in green, sold in sizes 3 through 9 months. Both styles have decorative train appliqués on the front of the overalls. December 27, 2006 Regal Lager Inc. Recall to Repair Strollers Due to Abrasion Hazard

This recall involves the e3 Buggy which is a three-wheeled stroller with a black steel tubing frame. It is sold in a variety of fabric colors. An additional seat, known as a "Doubles Kit," can be added directly behind the main stroller's seat allowing a second child to ride in the stroller. This seat can either be added on top of the stroller's frame or attached on top of the rear axle in the lower position. When used in the lower position, a seated child can reach the wheels. December 21, 2006 BabySwede LLC Recalls BABYBJÖRN® Feeding Spoons Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled feeding spoons were sold under the brand name "BABYBJÖRN," which is printed along the front side of the spoon's handle. The spoons were sold in one package containing two spoons. The spoons are about 6-1/2 inches in length, with a soft, flexible plastic tip sold in two color combinations: blue/red or green/yellow. Read more.
