August 7, 2013 Toysmith Recalls Toy Light-Up Frogs and Ducks Due to Choking Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Cost Plus World Market

This recall includes light-up soft plastic toy frogs and ducks. The toys light up when the sensors on the bottom of the product are touched or placed in water. The frog comes in green and the ducks come in yellow, pink and clear. The toys are approximately 2.25 inches in length and 1.5 inches in height. July 31, 2013 Far East Brokers Recalls Ladybug-themed Kids’ Outdoor Furniture Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

This recall involves red ladybug-themed kids' metal-framed outdoor furniture sold under the Leisure Ways brand. The recalled items have large ladybug images on the fabric and include a camp chair, folding chair, moon chair, double-seat swing chair and patio set that includes two chairs, a table and an umbrella. A tracking label sewn into the seat of each chair includes the production date "December/2012" and the words, "Distributed by: Far East Brokers and Consultants, Inc." Read more.


July 23, 2013 Girls Boots Recalled By Renaissance Imports Due to Laceration Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Academy Sports + Outdoors

This recall involves Autumn Run brand girls Gemma II style boots with SKU number 0529-02613-1050. The SKU number can be found on a tag which is located inside the shoe, on the inner side of the collar. The brown roper style boots were sold in girls sizes 5 to 11. A paisley-print fabric sash and a leather beaded strap are tied around the boot. Read more.


July 23, 2013 Nan Far Woodworking Recalls Rockland Furniture Round Cribs Due to Entrapment, Suffocation and Fall Hazards; Sold Exclusively at jcpenney

This recall involves Rockland Furniture round cribs with model number 343-8314. The model number is printed on a label located on the inner-lower portion of the crib rail. The cribs are 44 ½ inches in diameter and were sold in white, ebony and cherry finishes. Read more.


July 23, 2013 Kids II Recalls Baby Einstein Activity Jumpers Due to Impact Hazard; Sun Toy Can Snap Backward

This recall includes Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumpers with model number 90564. The model number can be found on a tag attached to the underside of the seat. These stationary activity centers have a support seat covered in blue fabric attached to a large white metal frame and include a variety of brightly colored toys surrounding the seat. The yellow sun toy is attached to the seat frame on a flexible stalk with either three or five brightly colored rings. A date code is located in the lower right corner of the sewn in label on the back of the blue seat pad. The recall includes Aquababy Bath Ring seats in pink or blue designed for children five months to ten months old. The seat is made of white plastic with blue, pink or green trimming and has four suction cups on the bottom. An oval-shaped arm rail runs from the seat back and connects two side posts and the seat front post. There are three spinning toys on the front of the seat rail above the front post. "Thermobaby Z.I. De Kerbois," "Aquababy" and "Ref. 1953 Made in France" is engraved underneath the bath seat. Read more.


June 19, 2013 Strollers Recalled by Kolcraft Due to Projectile Hazard

The recall includes Jeep Liberty branded strollers with model numbers starting with JL031, JL032, JL034, JL035 or JL036 manufactured between June 2010 and September 2011. The model number and date of manufacture are printed on a white tag on the rear upper center of each seatback pad. The three-wheeled strollers were sold in different color fabric combinations with a metal black and silver frame including: green seat and canopy; gray seat and canopy with a teal blue stripe across the center of the canopy; orange seat and canopy with a tan stripe; tan seat and canopy with yellow stripe across the center top of the canopy; and tan seat and canopy with an orange canopy rim. "Jeep" is printed on the side of the stroller and on the front of the stroller tray. There is a plastic red toy steering wheel, ignition key and orange shift lever mounted on a yellow base attached to the stroller tray. If your stroller wheels have a gray triangle located on the rim at the valve stem then your stroller wheels are not included in this recall. Read more.

They have a white base with suction cups on the bottom, a back/arm support, a detachable back support bar that folds under the seat for storage and a detachable T-bar front stabilizer that folds forward for entry. The back/arm support is gray, blue or pink. "Made in Taiwan" and "BBL" are engraved on the underside of the seat base and "BeBeLove" is printed on a sticker in the center of the back/arm support.
