Recalls: Babies and Kids

This recall involves boys Fission zipper hooded sweatshirts made of 100% cotton. The sweatshirts come in black, green, royal blue, true red and turquoise color. There is a white drawstring tie that is attached on each side of the neck area. There are two pockets and a white zipper on the front of the garment. The recalled sweatshirts were sold in boys sizes small (size 8-10) and medium (size 12-14). The size can be found on the label that is sewn into the seam of the neck area. There is also a white label sewn into the lower left seam inside the garment. On the label, it states Karachi Pakistan, Active Apparel, has the manufacture date "MAY, 2014," and batch number 61271,159. Read more.

The recall involves First Impressions high-top, soft-soled sneakers for infants that are crawling or standing. The recalled shoes have blue denim soles and uppers, brown canvas tongues, tan shoe laces and white polyurethane toes. Each upper has eight 3/16-inch eyelets for the laces. The shoes came in sizes 0, 1, 2 and 3. Style number 42090 is on a cloth tag inside of shoe. Read more.

This recall involves IKEA GUNGGUNG Swing. GUNGGUNG is intended for indoor and outdoor use by children ages 3-7. It is made of green polyester fabric and hangs from a plastic suspension fitting attached to steel hooks. The full length of the suspension strap, including the sling seat, is 17 feet and the width of the seat is 0.8 feet. A permanent label is attached to one of the suspension straps, showing age recommendation (3-7), IKEA logo, Design and Quality IKEA of Sweden, GUNGGUNG article number 302.439.74, supplier number 17915 and Made in Vietnam. The recalled Livie & Luca children's shoes include two styles: Carta and Cotton. The Carta style Mary Jane shoes are canvas, solid color shoes stitched to a tan sole with a fabric strap and a brown wooden button. The Carta shoes are blue, fuchsia or gray. The Cotton style Mary Jane canvas shoes have a stitched tan rubber sole and a colored fabric strap with a dandelion printed on a pink square button and a gingham or polka-dot cotton interior lining. The cotton shoes are yellow, green or red. Both the Carta and the Cotton style shoes were sold in toddler sizes 4 through 13. Only shoes with date codes 06 2013 through 12 2013 (Month Year) printed on the insole of the shoe are included in the recall. The Livie & Luca logo is printed on the inside of the shoe. Read more.

This recall involves Tray Vous snack and activity trays, which have connectors that fit into strollers. The three-piece units include a black plastic tray with a cup holder, a left connector and a right connector. The tray measures about 15 inches wide by 6 inches deep by .75 inches thick. The left and right plastic connectors measure about 4 inches long by 1.75 inches wide by .75 inches thick and are used to connect the tray to the stroller's base. "Tray Vous" and "Patent Approved US7942437B2" are printed on a sticker underneath the tray. Read more.

This recall involves the Little Marc Jacobs girl's hooded pull-over swimwear cover up jacket made of 100% cotton. The jackets are navy with red flowers and teal leaves and have a teal bunny appliqué and two buttons on the front. They were sold in girl's sizes 2 through 12. Little Marc Jacobs Swimwear, style number LM28616, Lot #1 and the size are printed on the black sewn-in label at the center back of the jackets. Read more.

The recalled bean bag chairs have two zippers that can be unzipped and opened, including one of the exterior cover and other directly underneath that zipper. The recalled chairs with zippers that open were sold in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and fabrics. They include round or L-shaped, vinyl or fabric, and are filled with polystyrene foam beads. They were sold in a variety of colors, including purple, violet, blue, red, pink, yellow, Kelly green, black, port, navy, lime, royal blue, turquoise, tangerine and multi-color. The round bean bag chairs were sold in three sizes, 30, 32 and 40 inches in diameter. The L-shaped bean bag chair measures 18 inches wide by 30 inches deep by 30 inches high. "ACE BAYOU CORP" is printed on a tag sewn into the bean bag chair's cover seam. Read more.

This recall includes Franklin & Ben Mason style 4-in-1 style cribs model number 5601 that were manufactured from January 2012 through August 2012. The model number and the date of manufacture are printed on a label on the inside of a side panel of the crib. Listed on the label as a "serial number," the following purchase order numbers are included in the recall: H004522, H004546, H004548 or H004777. The cribs have solid wood sideboards and wood rails on the front and back of the crib in varying heights and can convert to a daybed, toddler bed or full-sized bed. There is a storage drawer at the base of the crib with two metal knobs. The recalled cribs were sold in weathered gray and rustic brown, and measure 57 inches long by 33 inches wide by 51 inches high. Read more.

The four recalled children's water bottles have popular cartoon characters on a hard-sided plastic bottle. Characters and bottle colors include Dora the Explorer®, violet; Hello Kitty®, pink; SpongeBob Square Pants®, blue; and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles®, green. The bottles stand 6 inches tall, hold 15 ounces of liquid, have white lids that screw off and have fold-up straws and filters that sit inside the straw below the lid. Each bottle bears a Brita logo and features the image of a popular children's cartoon character. The removable plastic wrap on the bottle at time of purchase has the model number BB07 and the following UPC codes: 60258-35883 on the Dora the Explorer, 60258-35914 on the Hello Kitty, 60258-35880 on the SpongeBob Square Pants and 60258-35882 on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
