Recalls: Babies and Kids

This recall involves 14 styles of Ski-Doo or Can-Am kids' hooded sweatshirts for boys and girls. They were sold in kids' sizes 2 through 12. The hoodies are cotton/polyester blend. There is a drawstring in the hood of the garment. Colors include raspberry, yellow, heather, charcoal gray and black. "Ski Doo" or "Can-Am" is printed on the front. Recalled style numbers include: 286485, 453215, 453265, 453320, 453321, 453375, 453376, 453464, 453618, 453658, 453660, 453661, 453707 and 453708. The style numbers indicating the different graphic treatments are printed on the white care label that is sewn into the neck and side of the garment. Read more.

The recall includes Dream On Me Incredible two-level deluxe adjustable height play yards with model number starting with 436A, 436B, 436G, 436O, 436P and 436R. The play yards, made with a steel, powder-coated frame base with rolling, hooded casters, have a fabric and mesh covering that comes in a variety of colors. The play yard includes a changing top, a toy bar with soft toys for entertainment, a side pocket for storage and a carrying case. "Dream On Me" is printed on the bottom left-hand side outside of the product. The model number is printed on a label attached to the play yard's mattress. The play yard can be folded for storage. This recall includes eleven Graco and Century-branded strollers with model names Aspen, Breeze, Capri, Cirrus, Glider, Kite, LiteRider, Sierra, Solara, Sterling and TravelMate. All models are a single-occupant stroller with an external sliding fold-lock hinge on each side and a one-hand fold release mechanism on the handle. Strollers with a manufacture date from August 1, 2000 to September 25, 2014 are included in the recall. Model numbers and the date of manufacture are printed on the white label located at the bottom of the stroller leg just above the rear wheel. Read more.

The recalled whistles are red and were included in a plastic Hello Kitty figurine holding a pink heart-shaped lollipop. The whistle can be removed and used to make sounds by inhaling or exhaling through the mouthpiece. When closed, the figurine measures about 3 inches in height and width and 1 3/4 inches in depth. The whistle measures about 1 3/4 inches in height and width and 3/4 inches in depth. A picture of Hello Kitty appears on both sides of the whistle. The text "©1976, 2014 SANRIO CO., LTD." appears above Hello Kitty's face on the whistle, and "Made for McDonald's China CCW Chine" appears below Hello Kitty's face on the whistle. The bag in which the toy is packaged includes the text "Hello Kitty® Birthday Lollipop" and the number "6" in the upper right corner. Read more.

This recall involves a Signature Designs Halloween image projector. The projector is a flashlight with cap that holds special lenses to project messages and images onto a wall or other surfaces. The flashlight handle is black with the word Halloween and pictures of a skull and a jack o' lantern printed in white. The handle is about 7 inches long and holds two size C batteries. The cap is orange and is about 3 inches high and about 2 inches in diameter. The projector comes with three lenses: an orange lens with a black jack o' lantern, a yellow lens with a black bat and a purple lens with the words "Trick or Treat" in black. A clear label with "Signature Designs (HK) Ltd, Ningbo, China, 14-121-02, 05/2014" printed in white is on the side of the handle opposite the orange on/off switch. Read more.

The recall includes the Just Like Home brand toy toaster sets. The teal blue plastic toy toaster has silver trim around the slice opening on top, with an orange slider handle on the side and orange 3-dimensional adjustment knob outlined with orange dots in a half moon shape on the face of the toaster in the left bottom corner. "Just like home" is printed in white on the front right bottom corner of the toaster. The toaster measures about 4 inches in height by 5-1/2 inches in length by 2 inches in width. The toaster set was sold with two plastic toast slices and two plastic half bagel slice accessories. Model number 5F60589 is printed on a white label on the bottom of the toaster and above the UPC bar code in the lower right hand corner of the product packaging. Read more.

This recall involves Koala Baby girl's plastic sandals with butterfly wings attached to the toes with rhinestones and hard or soft cork-type soles. Sandal colors include white or combination pink, gold and blue. They were sold in baby sizes 0 to 3 and girl's sizes 2 to 10. "Koala Baby" and the size are printed on the soles. White soft-soled sandals have model number GNL 43633BR and item number 795267 printed on a tag sewn into the sandal's ankle strap. White hard-soled sandals have model number GNL 43706BR and item number 795313. Combination pink, gold and blue soft-soled sandals have model number GNL 43634BR and item number 795275. Combination pink, gold and blue hard-soled sandals have GNM 41761BR and item number 845795. Read more.

This recall involves a Pure Baby Organic boy's hoodie made of 100% cotton. It comes in solid gray with a red drawstring that is inside the lining of the hood that surrounds the face. They have a zipper front closure. The recalled hoodies were sold in toddler boy's sizes 2t to boy's size 3. There is a white label sewn into the neck line that has the name Purebaby on it. There is also a label underneath it that has the size printed on it and states Made in India. A label with style number PB1613.B12 is sewn into an inside side seam of the garment under the washing instruction label. Read more.

This recall involves boys Fission zipper hooded sweatshirts made of 100% cotton. The sweatshirts come in black, green, royal blue, true red and turquoise color. There is a white drawstring tie that is attached on each side of the neck area. There are two pockets and a white zipper on the front of the garment. The recalled sweatshirts were sold in boys sizes small (size 8-10) and medium (size 12-14). The size can be found on the label that is sewn into the seam of the neck area. There is also a white label sewn into the lower left seam inside the garment. On the label, it states Karachi Pakistan, Active Apparel, has the manufacture date "MAY, 2014," and batch number 61271,159. Read more.

The recall involves First Impressions high-top, soft-soled sneakers for infants that are crawling or standing. The recalled shoes have blue denim soles and uppers, brown canvas tongues, tan shoe laces and white polyurethane toes. Each upper has eight 3/16-inch eyelets for the laces. The shoes came in sizes 0, 1, 2 and 3. Style number 42090 is on a cloth tag inside of shoe. Read more.
