Recalls: Candles
This recall involves Toulon potted candles that were sold individually and as a set. The larger, citronella-scented single candles were sold in cream, green and terracotta. Candles sold as a set include four smaller candles with cream or green pots and were sold in citronella and unscented. Item numbers involved in the recall are AW058 (single) and AW057 (set). The pots have a raised floral and garland design. Read more.
The clear glass candleholders are vase-shaped and measure about 11-inches tall. "At Home with Meijer" is printed on a label on the bottom of the candleholders. Read more.
The recalled product is the "Money Bag" candle, which is 3 ¾-inches tall and green in color. There is a gold glitter dollar symbol on the front of the candle and the candle is molded in the shape of a bag. Inside the candle is a varying amount of money from a $1 coin to a $50 bill. Hang tags on the candle identify the candle as "The Money Bag by The Original Treasure Candle, ® Inc." They were sold under item numbers BI4372, BR4372, RA7372, RB4372, RG4372 and RW4372. The recalled Fireplace in a Box kit includes a 2.5-inch high by 2.5-inch wide plastic fireplace that resembles stone masonry with a black mantle, a tea light candle to fit inside the fireplace, and a small booklet "Fireplace in a Box." "Fireplace in a Box," "Mega Mini Kits," and "ISBN 0-7624-1603-3" is printed on the fireplace's packaging. Read more.
The recalled product is an egg-shaped tea light candle holder sold under style numbers 2C0755A, 2C0755B, and 2C0755C. The tea light holder came in the colors sky blue, pool blue and lavender. Both the style number and the color can be found on a sticker at the bottom of the candle holder. Read more.
The recalled red tea light candles are apple scented and have the brand name "Harvest" on the front packaging. Item number A5023 is written on the bottom of the packaging. The candles were sold in sets of six candles per package. The tea light candles measure 1½-inches wide by ¾-inch high. Each of the candles comes in a plastic holder. Read more.
This alert is only for consumers who purchased Item Number 40491 (the item number is located on the side of the packaging below the logo), an eight pack of Fern Warm Comforts tea light candles, after October 26, 2004. The tea light candles are green and come in a plastic holder. Candles purchased prior to October 26, 2004 are not affected by this alert. Read more.
